The bad reviews on this product are likely user-error. If you are tech savvy, you will be just fine. It works, just takes a little tinkering.Run windows XP 32-bit in VirtualBox then select this cable in the devices drop-down. Works like a charm. YouTube it if you need. Saved me a TON of money instead of buying a $1000+ scanner.

I've just gotten around to trying to install the software for this product. The first instruction was to disable all virus protection prior to running the installation. (Seemed fishy)...We use an active malware virus and cybersecurity threat mitigation program on all of our computers. When the "Drivers" were to be installed, the threat protection and Windows Defender stopped the process. I immediately received a call from my cybersecurity company as well stating the driver package was full of ransomware, Trojans, and several other malicious programs.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT BE REMOVED FROM THE STORE.

Used it to pair two key fobs.Software directions didn’t work as described so I went to archive.org and got the 14 version of techstream. The 17 version provided didn’t work but inside the 14 package version I got elsewhere was a useful file that helped instead.

Instructions saler provided is absolutely wrong, your car will never be recognized if you follow exactly what they did, annoying and waste of my time.

The software needs a a key for it to work and I can't get a key so I can't use it.
