Great price, nice build quality, feels good and looks great.
This is my first YoYo since I was at school when all the fizzy drink companies made them a craze in the playground. I could still remember most of the tricks so I purchased this to play with during my screen breaks. I’d done quite a bit of research before making my choice, I couldn’t believe how technical YoYo’s can be, anyhow the reason I chose the YOSTAR K1-Plus was based on.1. The price2. Prime delivery3. Mostly positive feedback from my research4. Recommended for beginnersI received the Yo-Yo next-day (love Prime), it came well packaged and included; The Yo-Yo, 3 different strings, a soft case, and a surprisingly functionally Yo-yo finger glove! The Yo-yo itself looks great, nicely weighted (heavier than I’d expected a Yoyo to be) and the strings were of decent quality with enough length – I’m 6’2”. At first glance, I didn’t expect the glove to fit on my large hands but there were no problems, it was comfortable and a snug fit – to start though, I didn’t use the glove it didn’t seem necessary lol. That was until 10 minutes in my index finger and palm were starting to throb due to not being used to a professional Yoyo, the weight, and my slightly aggressive technique. So for the first few weeks, I would use the glove! It was really easy to get the Yo-yo to spin on the axis and was walking the dog in no time! A slight up flick caused enough friction to return the Yo-yo. I was impressed with the length of time the Yoyo would spin, leaving me just enough time to start practicing some tricks like the Eifel Tower hah!The Yoyo seemed to tilt a lot, and I started to blame the Yo-yo for this but whilst going through a session of online videos tutorials it was all down to my technique :pI’ve been using it daily for a couple of months now and I’ve not experienced any issues with it other than having to change the string once.I’m not sure what else to write about the K1, I’m sure I’ve missed out a lot of points for the more experienced yo-yo enthusiast so excuse the review if it’s somewhat bland. This is feedback from a novice casual Yoyoer!I use it on my screens breaks at work, it helps clear my head and there’s plenty of online resources to keep me busy learning some of the more advanced skills 😉Great price, nice build quality, feels good and looks great.

Brilliant and great value for money.
I love this yo-yo. I bought one for my son as a Christmas present. However when it arrived I couldn’t resist having a few goes. The weight is perfect. Is very easy to do tricks and brilliant build quality. Very simple to attach the string. When you know how, it takes seconds.I decided to keep it for myself and ordered a second one for my son.I would highly recommend this yo-yo and can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Hit and miss
I bought this as a 'stocking filler' for my son, and he was most impressed as soon as he opened it.Having had a look myself, the main body of the yoyo seems to be built to last, so no complaints here. However, the strings are a mess, even by yoyo standards. If you get 5 minutes of play without it unravelling or overly twisting I would be amazed. I was careful to follow the installation instructions to the letter to ensure the best possible fitment but even doing this, we have utilised all the available strings and even put an extra on since. The most recent one did not come with the yoyo, but does seem to be an improvement and now the Yoyo is finally seeing some prolonged usage. So if you are looking for a cheap yoyo built to last, this could be the one... just be prepared for a little bit of string maintenance

Great little yo-yo
It’s turns up and it’s very responsive. because the bearing is greased if you want to turn this into a non-responsive yo-yo simply wash the bearing in isopropyl alcohol, great Yoy for learning the DNA

Hear me out before you yo-yo!
I must admit, at first, my eldest son, for whom I bought this yo-yo, was extremely frustrated and disappointed with it, purely because the string would not wind round tightly, but instead was loose and kept spinning around. The accompanying instructions state that the string needs to be pinched while winding around the yoyo, this does help, but the result of the pinch is that there is a jump when it's thrown, which creates even more loops which causes further jumps until the whole thing comes to an abrupt end within a couple of throws. He was about to give up on this product, until the following day when he once again tried to yoyo and it worked impressively well, in fact, it was smooth. My guess is that the string needed to be worn to a certain point for it to get a better grip around the axel.Looking past the initial issues, this product is up to the mark. The package comes with additional strings, a yoyo glove, and a carry pouch which kids can throw in their bags and take with them, and is great fun to play and learn tricks.Final Score: 4/5

Great for the price
Great Yo-Yo for beginners. I bought this after my son broke his cheapo Christmas tree present. I was surprised at how he became hooked on it, to the point the brand new Nintendo switch was an expensive dust magnet! After he broke the cheapo I decided to buy him this. This is a brilliant yo-yo for the price & comes with a lot of extras. This is just the job to get started & get some really good tricks. Be warned though. Once they start..... They don't stop 😂
