OMG! what did I just read?! This story was a total roller coaster for me.The cover page itself says something impossible like the unborn baby responding to the mother's questions. Yes, it happened. Mahika was pregnant after two miscarriages and she couldn't lose third one so she decided to run away from his unloving and deceitful husband, Shivam.In her runaway battle, her unborn son helped her a lot. Mahika was vulnerable but a stranger's messages woke up courage inside her. She found her way throughout all the obstacles.The story started slow but it picked up after few chapters. The characters were developed well. The story engrossed me completely. The climax was totally page turner and I couldn't put it down. The twist in last few chapters was jaw dropping. This book is definitely recommended to thriller readers.

This book has one of the best plot twists. Highly recommended one. A must read. The way of writing is just so good. It will keep you hooked. After this, I'm surely gonna read Nidhi Upadhyay's other book, i.e., That Night

Imagine if you were pregnant and somehow your baby can hear everything you say and even react to it, like it got some super power, how terrifying would that be?"I Hear You" by Nidhi Upadhyay is a book on a whole new level, I am completely astounded at how the author comes up with such an amazing plot. The entire story is based around a mother living with an abusive husband and the thing about an abusive husband is that somehow the wife can never escape, they keep finding ways to make an excuse for the way they are and keep forgiving them but what will happen when she finds out the baby she carries is nothing but a project for his husband? What happens when she realizes the baby she carries is made to be perfection and is a genius of some kind? What happens when she realises her husband might never love the baby when it's born or that her husband might use her baby only for his personal gain? Or was her husband being manipulated by someone else completely? Will she finally be able to get herself out of this marriage for the sake of his son?The entire plot was mind blowing, and there was a twist after twist which is awesome. The book is a mixture of dark thriller and a criminal genius at best, even till the end when her husband's truth comes to life, completely genius I tell you, keeps us wondering, guessing and hooked till the last page. It is a much read if you love an intense read, I've been wanting to read this for a long time and it was totally worth it.
