The bad reviews on this product are likely user-error. If you are tech savvy, you will be just fine. It works, just takes a little tinkering.Run windows XP 32-bit in VirtualBox then select this cable in the devices drop-down. Works like a charm. YouTube it if you need. Saved me a TON of money instead of buying a $1000+ scanner.

Cable seems fine but when I tried to install software Windows found infected files with Ransomeware. I would never recommend this company and surprised Amazon would allow it.

2010 Lexus GX460. Worked what I initially needed it for. Basic Engine warning light checks, To stop the telescoping wheel and set presenting on start/stop. Seatbelt warning, etc.However, a few weeks later I tried using it to drain/fill fluid and found it won't get live temperature data from the ECU. 0xC0040001 I now need a cable with firmware 2.0.4 to access all the functionality needed. And, of course I'm outside of the return window. If an exception can be made here I'll increase my rating. Otherwise this felt like a bait/switch selling the old firmware.

Works perfectly on my IS250, but you must be tech-oriented to get things working on windows 10. I did not use any of the included software, but managed to get version 14.30.023 running. Follow the guide on the Tundratalk forum made by user tdi200

Used this cable with techstream 12 on a virtual machine to program keys and fob for 2016 tundra. All functions available. Works as expected.
