Charge doesn't last long at all!

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this because it has two batteries and is rechargeable. I have tried to like this and have been using it for weeks now.The good-It has two batteries.You can twist the bottom housing to manually feed the string.It offers good power.Lighted monitor for battery power left.Three levels of power strength low, medium and high and yes the high is very powerful.The harness offers good balance and helps with the weight if worn as a crossbody strap.You can charge the two batteries at the same time in the charger.The bad-It is very long and heavy especially for me at 5’3”.I have been having lots of problems with the auto bump feed not feeding and yes I have reloaded the sting as well as buy a round string and with no results, (disclaimer- I am not a expert but I have used another brand for about 15 years with much less problems with the auto feed) but who knows it may be operator error.You need to use both batteries at the same time to operate not save one as a backup.Difficult to remove the housing to restring.I am sticking with my old (decker) reliable brand that has been around for years and it more user friendly.

What I like: - 3 speeds so you can choose what's most appropriate for your task - higher speed works really well but uses a lot of battery, slowest speed is still useable and lasts much longer. - Shoulder Strap - really helps to hold it without getting sore.. it stays balanced well and is much better than holding the trimmer only with the hands.- Dual string, relatively easy to get the string out whenever you need to lengthen it.- Strong, thin hook to hang it on my garage wall.What I don't like: - Feeding the string can be a little difficult. - Battery doesn't last super long, but I do think the advertised duration is correct. I just need more than 1 charge to get all around my property. - The trimmer doesn't twist around to edge the sidewalk - it only clicks in 1 orientation, so edging is more difficult.
