I have found that these Strong Grips are an awesome addition to my gym. First I want to add I am 6’1 and I have been lifting constantly for the past 3 years went from 235lbs (little extra fat) to 185lb lean and now at a strong 200lb and am familiar with similar products used to help maintain grip on lifts. I manly use these for Back exercises and deadlifts. Going over the product specs themselves, they fit perfectly to my hand and feel very study and well constructed. The overall look is simple and sleek. The grips have large logo with the name of the product on the outer wrist band. The band has a very strong Velcro pad that helps keep the wrist band in place and add support to your wrist. And the band itself seems to made of some strong material. I will note that I can tell that at some point the top cloth layer on the inner padding on the wrist band may start to peel on the sides with continual sweaty workouts. On the outside of the cloth cover on the pads it has a glue adhesive that may be hard to keep the cloth liner on over time however it won’t just fall off due to some sewing at the middle. The pads still do the job so it does not take away from my rating as I am more for function than anything else. The grip material itself is very robust and made of what feels to be high grade rubber. When I use these grips during workouts it helps me focus on the mind-muscle connection rather than focus on if my hands can keep hold of the bar due to sweat or grip strength. This allows me to maintain a full grip and not fall into having the “monkey paw” grip I have seen. No slipping here. It really has helped me build strength on some major compound lifts. I love these grips and they really help out! A great addition to any gym rat or weightlifter who is looking to maintain his/her grip at all times. And at a great price, compared to another brand that is twice the cost of the Strong Grips and does the same thing. And these are the right grips

First off, these things work great. I never realized how fatiguing your grip can make lifts, until I threw these on. I found myself able to crank out a few more reps or add some more weight to my pulls. I feel the isolation and mind/muscle connection a lot more. Very good to use with deadlifts, pulldowns, rows, pull ups, etc. I have only used these for about 2 weeks now, but I can tell that the material is extremely durable and should last very long. I would definitely recommend these for anybody, no matter how long you’ve been into lifting. Also, I did have an issue with shipping, (post offices fault) but with a quick email the guys at New York Muscle Radio were very fast at getting back to me and resolving the issue. I have been proactively weight lifting for half a year and always had trouble with my grip due to slight carpel tunnel. As the weights went higher, I would lose grip instantly and have pain in my palm which would reduce my ability to progress in lifts such as deadlifts.After some research, I found these puppies and I must say I am glad I did. The nonstick surface holds strong in my palms and reduce any palm pain which has allowed me to go even further in terms of weight.Each grip is specifically formed to your hand so make sure you wear them to the proper hand (the larger side towards your pinky).The straps on the wrists feel good and do not cause discomfort.In my picture, It does not show the rubber grip but its wrapped under my palm around the bar and provided excellent grip. I am no super pro but that weight is 225 and without the grips I would have to do a reverse grip or do 2-3 reps before my grip would give out.If you having trouble holding onto weights or have a palm issue like me, I would highly recommend this item.

Great product!!!I have been using my Strong Grips for 3 months now. I use them almost daily for my heavy lifts/assisting in pulling exercises and they are STILL IN GREAT SHAPE! The velcro still holds as good as new despite the constant use. The rubber is thick and made of durable material. There have been no rips or tears in the straps after all the use. I have had several friends (male/female/bigger/smaller) all use the straps and they have fit comfortably for each different person. The velcro allows you to adjust as needed. These are PERFECT for focusing on the muscle instead of grip. Overall, I am VERY PLEASED with the great quality of the strong grips.

I wanted to really put these guys to the test before writing a review. I bought these 5 months ago and have been using them about twice a week. I was a little apprehensive because I've been using wrist straps for years. Just wanted to try these out because they seem easier (quicker) to get setup on the bar. So far they've been great and very durable. I still love my wrist straps but use these alot more.

Loved the fast I could save a bunch of money from the original brand I buy. Big mistake. The straps around the wrist are falling apart after a month. Does not hold up and now I will have to purchase a new one of another brand which I should have done in the first place. 3 stars because it worked great, just needs to last longer.

Cheap junk, spend ten more dollars get some quality. Tried on and already started to rip, wrist straps made of what I would compare to packaging foam.

I didn't realize how much poor grip was affecting my workouts until I bought these! They are super comfortable, durable, and excellent quality. The fitting is nearly perfect which is what I was most afraid of. Totally worth the money, would recommend!
