I don't have any reptiles, but have used this to good effect on a home battery pack that is situated in an uninsulated garage - it allows me to keep the battery at a temperature that prevents it becoming too cold in the winter and reducing its ability to charge or discharge - this heatpad is just the right size to stick into an insulated box and keep the temperature at a nice even temperature of 10C when needed - the display allows that to be set and it uses just 23W when switched on. The pad comes rolled up which takes a little time to flatten out gently, but the 3M adhesive is very strong so ensure placement is accruate first time. For under £30 it's pretty good value. Aside from reptile enclosures, it would also make a useful seedling heater - just some ideas!

This reptile pad has actually worked quite well to help maintain a suitable baseline temperature around my resin 3d printer enclosure. The digital display is nice to try and tune what setting works best, and the heating element works fine and is relatively low power compared to having a space heater for the entire room, targeted and effective. The only thing that as a little awkward was that it arrives rolled up so tightly that it feels challenging to set it to sit flat again - I don't want to risk damaging the heating element but it seems hard to straight it without rolling it backwards on itself.

My first impressions are very good packaging is superb great information on it clearly shows what you have inside the box brilliantThe match is a nice thickness however it took me in age to get it to flatten out I know you have some sticky tubs with it but you need an awful lot to keep this down took me a while to get it to a position where I could use the 3M tabs.Really like the flex cable easy to use great control with the heating control switch and the cable is securely wrapped in protective covering.I love having good instruction leaflets this one's not bad but I really dislike having two languages on the same point as it distracts me reading correctly so it takes me a while but overall it's a good leaflet easy to read except for the twin language and easy to follow.Overall not a bad mat except for the weighted time in the flattening it out like having the control another bad price point and just over 26 pound

For best results it needs sticking down to the surface on you put it on as it is quite thick and rolls/bunches back up if not held firmly in place. Instructions on how to set or change the temperature are included and simple to follow.Recommended.

I've never seen a heat pad like this before, we've been using a microwave one for a while but this is much better. The tortoise seems to love it.

Overall this does work well (I used it to help heat soil to germinate seeds) and heats to a constant temperature. It’s more expensive than another I have and yet not as large.The mat was a bit of a pain to flatten out but does work.

I have to firstly mention that this has a built in thermostat so you can quite easily maintain the required temperature in your terrarium and it works like a dream. I was really impressed with the overall quality and even the presentation when it arrives, there's nothing cheap feeling or looking about this.It's made with high quality materials and the adhesive is 3M so you know exactly what you're getting.. Unfortunately the instructions aren't particularly well written however it's very simple to use and being a typical man I don't usually read them anyway, especially if something is as intuitive as this heating pad.
