I like using a lipstick that has an angle of a pencil. You can get every inch of your lips a lot easier. The shade in the photo is 302 Ella - Warm Mid Tone Nude. It has a blur effect, and is comfortable weightless wear.

These lip crayons are a little pricey but I bought two & they do not irritate my lips or come off right away.

This is a really flattering color. I love how it doesn’t really dry or crack my lips after it’s been applied for some time. Also has a smooth texture when applied. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of is that it didn’t really stay long on my lips, especially if I applied a cream lipstick on top of it or a lip gloss. It stays a bit longer whenever I use it by itself, but still not an all-day or all-night type of lip crayon. More like just 1-2 hrs of wear if you don’t eat or drink.

This goes on so smoothly and is very creamy. I generally find matte lipsticks to be drying, so I was pleasantly surprised at how this went on. No feathering and no compulsive need to add anything hydrating. I got the color "Maia", which is a pretty pinkish nude color. It's a subtle hint of color and can be worn for a low-key look or layered for a more bold statement. I'm usually a Laura Mercier eye product gal - love the eyeliner - and am happy to expand my love to other products.

I like this lipstick well enough. The color is cute. There’s great color payoff and it has a nice matte finish without being overly drying. I wouldn’t say it’s all that hydrating on its own but I hardly expect that out of my lip colors so that doesn’t bother me. I did expect it to be a bit longer lasting though since the product title claims to provide 24 hour hydration and 12 hour color. Maybe it would if you don’t eat or drink anything in those 12 hours but since that’s hardly realistic, I can confidently say it doesn’t live up to that claim. Overall, it’s a decent enough lipstick and I’m always happy to have another product that doesn’t pull warm on my cool-toned skin, but I do think there are better options in this price range and even in the lower price range.
