This is the one!!!
I've gone through several back massagers over the years and I finally found the one. I read many reviews and went back and forth between airbag and shiatsu massagers for my buying decision and I'm glad I picked this one. I've owned shiatsu back massagers and they work ok but after a while the repeated hard pressure becomes uncomfortable. I also had an airbag massage mat but it had a smaller number of airbags which were also smaller, and the control options were limited, but still, more comfortable than the shiatsu type. The HY-8639 is a big step up from all the massagers I've had, but surprisingly, at a similar price point. The unit arrived well-packed and the included booklet is well written with easy-to-understand operating instructions. The mat seems well-constructed and the controller has actual physical buttons, unlike others that use an overlay membrane for buttons that get easily damaged. The physical buttons are well-placed and easy to memorize ( I can now operate the remote without having to look at it). I'm 5'-9" and this mat fits quite well. To me, the airbags are just the right size, not too big and not too small. The neck airbags can be adjusted and if I want a little more twisting pressure on my neck, I set the neck airbags a little higher on my neck. The rest of the airbags are located in a way that they apply pressure that feels more natural. There are various modes and levels to choose from and the heating area is plenty big. All the control modes have a well-thought-out massage pattern, including the way the airbags inflate. At different times during the massage, the airbags will inflate in short pulses, and the twist pattern which I prefer, quickly switches between the lower left hip and upper right back airbag and vice versa to apply the maximum twist at different times during the 20-minute massage. Why do I say this is the one? because I've tried many and because this is the only massage mat that cracks my back and neck with full relaxation.

Absolutely GREAT!!!
Worth the money FOR SURE. I have arthritis, degenerative disc disease, so aches and pains all over. I enjoy personal massages every once in a while and have gone through 3 “massage” mats in the past couple years - they simply vibrate and break. So I decided to spend a little more money on trying something else, even though the reviews helped me pick this, I honestly was expecting a dud. I cannot believe the good job it does with air pressure. Literally moves my neck, includes heat, stretches me, working my hips and upper and lower back also. I was worried that with the mat doing more than vibrating, it would be hard to lay on because there are always hard components on the other cheap types of mats. This is Absolutely comfortable and auto shut downs in 30 min. I’m just amazed and recommend to anyone needing this type of stress or pain relief!!

Relaxation Transformation
I recently purchased the Massage Mat. I have herniated disc and stands on my feet all day for my occupation. I purchased this hoping it will help my constant back pain. It's been almost 2 weeks since I received the product. It's got a permanent place on my bed. I've slept w it every night. I love the ease of use and it's setting features and it's highly effective relief of my back pain. My favorite is the back features and heat, so soothing.Massage Mat over delivers. Worth every penny. I can't live without it

Gemtle passive stretching of back
I wasn't sure what to expect. I got this as I am a farrier which is hard on my back. You lay on this mat and its a bunch of inflating air bags that fill at different spots at different times to move you back and gives a gentle stretch. Its very noisy and the neck pillows hiss abrubltly when they fill , which may startle you (and any house pets-my cats scattered. Lol).Over all, with the heat on, its soothing and shorr of the hissing sound and when it thumps (presuming is supposed to be like a precussion but is more distracting really,( and the heat on low is plenty warm!) I could fall asleep on this thing. For the hips, i basically just pushes both legs together, not really a calf massage or anything, but this does help stretch the miscles some. Feels best on my back. I am small so the neck pillows dont move my head a whole lot, but I blame my less than average height and head size, not the product.I onky gave 4 stars for the noise and thumping, but it does make my back feel great. It does take some closet space like queen size comforter, when its rolled for storage. Light wreight and easy to roll up, with a handle to make it easy to cary. I do not regret getting this.

Absolutely Worth Trying!
Such a unique massage mat! As the other reviews mentioned, it’s not your traditional mat and I love it! The airbags randomly pull and twist the various areas, including neck, back and hips. It’s very relaxing and the only downside is that it shuts off in 20 minutes. I’ve used it an hour at a time and it’s wonderful! Highly recommend giving it a try.

Affordable & Great quality
Normally, when you order a massager, you expect the rotation to push the hot spots and work the knots aggressively or lightly, depending on the settings you choose. This massager takes a completely different approach. Instead of pushing or rolling on your skin, it feels air and vibrates.I don't think it can replace the more common shiatsu massages, but it's a great addition to your home spa/healing collection. This massage mat is more like physiotherapy, filling with air in all the right places and gently stretching and twisting tense/tight muscles. You can adjust the air fill to provide more or less movement, and just like a massage therapist or physiotherapist would do, it lifts your head and neck and gently twists them from side to side as you move your back to twist the spine and fill it with air to create movement from the hips to the neck.I'm quite active and have made Flow definition for about 30 minutes part of my bedtime routine. I find it reduces the pain and relaxes me so I can sleep - sometimes I fall asleep even while I'm doing it.
