Fantastic speakers for their price!
I was looking for a set of speakers to replace my aging Danish Eltax Symphony 6.2 speakers, and found that a lot of people were recommending Monitor Audio, a British company. After reading many reviews, I was deciding between these and the Monitor 300 speakers (which are cheaper).I ended up buying these Bronze 6 speakers and I'm so happy with them!Paired with a Pioneer VSX-932 and a BK Electronics XLS200 DF, music is crystal clear with crisp mids and highs and movies are brought alive. Will eventually replace my centre and rears with the Bronze Center and Bronze 2 speakers, but for now I'm super chuffed with them!May update this once they have fully broken in, though as I normally use them as part of my home theatre setup, it may take longer than expected.

What a fantastic speakers!!!
The sound quality is incredible!!! Super fat and rich bass, no need for the subwoofer. I drive them with Onkyo A-9010 amplifier (even though I tried other much more expensive amplifiers including Marrantz, Onkyo sounds just amazing!!!) Super Happy!!!

50th birthday gift to myself .... and didn't I do badly (see addenda)?
Auditioned these a few years ago against a good number of speakers; they were far and away my favourite at the time, but decided that I couldn't stretch to the price. Took home a pair of Monitor Audio MR6 instead, and they have been very, very good for four years or so.I bought the Bronze 6 almost on a whim, sort of as a 50th birthday treat to myself. Out of the box, positioned, levelled and plugged straight in, they are remarkable - crisp, detailed, sublime bass, an utter revelation in sound. And one can only believe the set-up/installation spiel that they will improve with 50-70 hours use. The MR6s in contrast sounded like dogs out of the box and, in hindsight, never entirely lost the degree of "shoutiness" in the mid range. They do have to be somewhat further out into the room - they seem to work best with a bit of breathing space - but that's fair enough. What's more, they're jolly nice to look at - still a vinyl wrap, but but with a bit more attention to detail, and cleaner lines. Keeps the missus happy, even if "that noise" (?!) doesn't.Been a fan of Monitor Audio for a number of years, and these have served to reinforce that enthusiasm. Can't recommend them enough.Addendum Jan 2020:Have just taken these back to the store for a listen - with running in, they have become abrasive in the midrange, almost a low level break-up, most notable with massed vocals (backing and harmonised vox, choral). The shop staff spotted that the two mid-range drivers have a very different feel to them; with a finger, one much stiffer to move than the other. A quality control issue? Come on MA.They have agreed to replace the mid/bass drivers, which of course will again have to be allowed to loosen up, so we shall see. I might put this back to 4 stars if it works out in the long term. They're not easy things to transport about either, makes for an annoying customer service process.Addendum Feb '20.Came back "repaired", with a new mid/bass driver. Solved a problem I didn't know was there, but they still sound like a transistor radio in the mid-band. Low level, but it gnaws at you until you get up and turn the music off, or put headphones on.In further research, there is some, seemingly quite trustworthy, evidence on-line that this is inherent to the design. I can't of course account for the veracity of these measurements - showing a distortion peak in the 1-2 kHz band - but it would tally well with what is offending my ears.Perhaps demonstrates that there is a world of difference between the audition (in a far from neutral sounding demo room, filled with other speakers and all sorts of junk) and actually living with the things.I'm trying to work with MA and the store for a resolution but, if all else fails, and you're a bit deaf in the mid-range, keep an eye on eBay.

Great sound
Sound great and a perfect fit too, these were an upgrade to a set of Monitor Audio Radius 270s that have performed well for over a decade, and the improvement is sound is very noticeable, almost no need for a subwoofer any more

Ottimi diffusori

Excellent sounding tower speaker
I am very happy with my choice of Monitor Bronze speakers. After years of listening to my music on systems designed for home theater, I wanted to return to my roots and build a system primarily for music. The last piece of the puzzle was choosing the right speakers. After reading all the reviews I could find on the internet and the helpful opinions of those here on Amazon, I chose these Monitor Tower speakers. Wow, these are the best speakers I have heard anywhere near this price point, and to my ears, better than some I have heard that were much more expensive. The sound is clear and warm. I mostly listen to Classic Rock and these speakers can rock hard with very good bass, and also sound excellent for more acoustic pieces. Every detail of the music can be heard without ever sounding overly bright. I can't imagine anybody being disappointed after making this choice.

Very happy with the sound quality
Very happy with the sound quality.Had listened to B&W 683 and 684 S2 prior to purchase. No direct comparison but these speakers are as good as the 683 S2 if not better( and a lot cheaper). If you are going to be listening to music - the clarity is amazing with no harshness at all.
