I told my 22-year-old granddaughter that she could pick out her birthday gift on Amazon. Out of the THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of items Amazon sells, she chose this Maison d' Hermine Backpack, The Miller, in red. She absolutely loves it. "Nuff said.

I bought this backpack for my adult daughter to carry everyday, and I got everything I expected and more! It's roomy enough for everything she needs, including a large double walled aluminum water bottle. But the best part is that it is soft and feminine, and the colors go with everything. Still, it's sturdy enough to take a daily beating and still be beautiful. I discovered the Maison de' Hermine brand several years ago while searching for pretty kitchen towels, and I am thrilled that their product lines have greatly expanded to SO MANY beautiful things for the home, but also amazing backpacks, handbags and even soft-sided weekenders. And they have collections that make it easy to get exactly the matching set you want! This amazing company is definitely raising the bar to new heights! If you are a V. I love the size, the print, and the included zip pouch. I purchased it because I use a a cane and backpacks work the best for me. I have it had it just over a month and the straps are coming apart at the top of the bag by the seams. Unfortunately, I am unable to return as I just missed the return window.

I am very confused really with this brand. I first started out buying 2 pieces. The backpack and messenger bag. I will say those are nice, thick quilting, softer feel than the leading name brand. But the issue started when I ordered another bag, the crossbody. I was expecting the same quality and it wasn’t there. I did return it and the company reached out, and told me if I would like a refund to let them know. I thought how wonderful, I did just that and then they told me to go through amazon, they don’t do refunds and was kinda snippy about it. That has left me confused as to why they reached out in the first place to only end with being sour?

Though this appears rather small in the picture, it is roomy and can hold quite a quantity of material. Thus it is not as dainty as it looks. However, the scene of the fabric is attractive and I have been complimented for my good taste in using it.
