Verify the Correct Wire Size Needed BEFORE Ordering
I ordered this wire based on the suggested, "People who bought this also bought ..." items Amazon routinely provided when I ordered the transformer. BIG MISTAKE. The gauge of wire you need is dictated by the number of low voltage lights on the run, the wattage of each light and the overall length of the wire run you need to make. I learned about this on the side of the box the transformer came in -- WHY the manufacturer didn't just share this CRITICAL piece of information in their own product description baffles me, but c'est la vie! While I'm sure this wire might be perfect for smaller installations, be sure to check into the information that came with your transformer and then RUN THE MATH before ordering.

Perfect for a possibly unusual job
We have a shore well where the water level rises and falls with the lake water level. In the winter it is quite low meaning that the well recovery time before we next draw a lot of water (laundry, toilet flush, etc.) can be long enough that we can temporarily run out of water! To help avoid this, I installed a water level sensor in the well and used this cable to connect it to a display gauge in the house. The cable fished through with ease due to its just right stiffness and smooth insulating jacket. Everything went perfectly! Very happy. Recommended product.

Good quality 16/2 landscape wires...
Not much more to say. Excellent for providing extended direct burial landscape lighting runs. Will hold up as long as wire is not exposed to animals, extreme wear and tear, etc. Bury 2 inches underground, seal all junctions / connections with self-fusing silicone tape, and do not expose the wire to animals or other potential sources of damage, and this wiring will last indefinitely. Good value.

Great landscape wire for the price
Cable worked perfectly. All lights worked at install and still fine 2 months later. Price was very competitive. Install takes time as you have to spade ground to insert wire.
