Very nice looking. Would love the base to be a bit sturdier as it topples very easily

Lamp was supplied with extended bolts at top and bottom which push the various elements down too far to allow clearance for most decent bulbs.The lamp was furthermore supplied with a dangling thing, un-advertised, at the bottom of the lamp. Whilst this may not be much of an issue for many, we have actively looked for suppliers selling it without this feature and ended up paying more than we would have to get from this seller, only to find they are selling something different from advertised.Top heavy and barely able to even stand under it's own weight.Poorly made compared to the ones I have purchased over the years on ebay, but at least it has a fuse now.

This lamp is utterly stunning. I love it.Downside is that it hardly throws out any light , so only useful as a feature item, useless as an actual lampI chose red, the lighter colours would probably be a better choice

I bought two of these lamps over two years ago. The base is quite decorative and the glass shade gives off a nice warm light. My only concern when assembled was that the glass shade was top heavy and easily toppled over so I stuck blu tack on the base to help stabilise it. The lamps were bought for decoration and only used occasionally. Two years on both bases have become brittle and the 'metal' bases have both snapped and therefore now totally unusable! These lamps were not cheap and should have lasted a lot longer than only two years!

These add certainly a touch of class.

If I could give a higher rating for this item, I would. It's gorgeous and I love it. If there is one tiny draw back, I would say that it's the fact that it only takes a 25 watt bulb.However, I will be ordering another one.
