BlueHenry Craft Cocktail All Natural Rimmer, Glass Rimming Sugar and Salt Blends, Pure Cane Sugar, 6 oz (Hibiscus)

I purchased this to put on the rim of Halloween drinks and it is not the color advertised. Have not tasted it yet but disappointed with the sandy color.

This review is for BlueHenry Craft Cocktail All Natural Rimmer, Bloody Mary, 6 oz. This product comes in a clear front resealable pouch that was properly sealed (needs to be cut to open) and weighed approx. 6 oz, as expected. The granules are very fine and largest particles are celery seed. It works well to rim a glass by moistening the rim and dipping the rim into the salt mixture. This salt is tasty and the flavor complements Bloody Marys – salty and slightly spicy with celery seed. It gives a nice finishing touch to homemade bloody Marys. Ingredients are not listed on the package and the Amazon listing just says Ingredients: Sea Salt, Aromatic spices; this product really should have an ingredient label on the package. It has expiration date approx. 1 year from date of purchase.

Is no where near as dark as advertised ! It's light grey even... and does not get darker w liquid.... it tastes ok ...not great . Disappointed to say the least . Don't waste ur $.

I absolutely love bloody marys. I also love salt! And spices! So, this was an exciting purchase for me. The pouch arrived sealed and in good shape. Six ounces is enough to rim a lot of glasses. It's pretty fine-grained for a rimming salt, but that's fine. It sticks to the glass well (for bloody marys, I like to stick the glass upside down in lime juice, then in the rimming salt). It has a great blend - in addition to the base of sea salt, this includes celery salt, cayenne, allspice, rosemary, and sage.

i've honestly never really thought about rimming a bloody mary. the salt really adds to the tomato juice and hot sauce though. i'm not a huge fan of the packaging, but the product is great.

The salt arrived in a consistentancy like brown sugar. This made it unusable aa a sugar rim for a drink. I tried to dry it out but it didn't work. Taste was good but not useful.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this hibiscus cocktail glass rimming sugar. It’s very tasty, not as sweet as cane sugar and it’s so pretty. It’s a little difficult to get the hibiscus petal bits to adhere to the rim, I may dice them into smaller bits because they really add to the look of the cocktail. I will definitely prepare the glasses well before guests arrive, but what a signature cocktail, they will make quite an impression. I think this sugar with the petal bits might also work in a rose shaped ice cube mold. I can’t wait to try it! Cheers!

This is pretty good overall, but it can be a little bitter if you get a bunch of the chunks of flowers in there so I try to avoid that. I like it more on the sweet side. I'm not sure what they are but it would be better without those in there I guess in my opinion.
