Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification Review 2018-2019: Cvrn Review Book and Practice Test Questions for the Cvrn Exam

This book is very organized and easy to read. I did noticed that it’s missing a TON of information about clinical pathways of various patients. For example, I couldn’t find any information about patients with aneurysms and dissection. The certification exam is going to ask about managing blood pressure and recognizing an ascending versus descending dissecting aneurysm, and there’s not a single mention of aneurysms in this book.

There's tons of content here to get you up to speed with what you need to know for the actual exam, and that's followed by a comprehensive practice exam, so you can then go back and see what you need to improve upon.

I’m in disbelief that a board certification review book could have the absolutely basic info anyone in cardiac should know on the mitral & pulmonic valves INCORRECT ! This was a complete waste of time & money. This review book was garbage and clearly whoever wrote this book/published it is not a trustworthy source. Embarrassing to say the least.

This CVRN Certification Study Guide for 2018-2019 is impressive! So much content to study. Informative,educational, and precise. The layout was easy to follow. The quality of questions and study materials was stunning. There was a lot to learn for this certification exam. This study guide made sure to bring the best and most important information to my attention. Test questions were numerous. Answers came with detailed explanations. I couldn't believe it. Wow! Overall, I recommend this study to all interested students.I received this copy from the publisher. This, is my voluntary review.

This test prep guide comprehensively covers the important elements included in this exam. It seems to be a good preparation book for this exam.

Who ever writes these books, needs to stop and go back to school. Or get an editor who has knowledge of CV nursing. Not only is this book only just a list of possible things to "know and understand" for an utterly beginning CV nurse, but there are mistakes throughout the book. Even in the test questions!!!!ex question 18: which valve prevents backflow from the aorta to the LV? Should be Aortic valve!!! NOT mitral valve which according to the book stops backflow from the LV to the RIGHT ATRIUM?!?!?! YUP, even there explanation for their wrong answer is utterly wrong!!!Spend your money on something worthwhile!!!

I am one chapter in and have identified several factual errors about cardiac anatomy. They also seemed to have used spell check indiscriminately, which has resulting in some confusing text (they are interNodal pathways, not interModal). It might help you pass the test, as it can't be 20% inaccurate, but if you are detail oriented and already know a bit about the subject, the mistakes are a distraction. There are other books out there, buy those......
