A bit heavy. But a good mug for people with problems with hands.

I was looking for a two handled mug to help a disabled friend of mine feel a bit more normality than using plastic cups all the time! She absolutely loves it and it’s brilliant quality! I think it’s really handy for older people or disabled people with slight weakness or shakes as they have the stability of both hands! It can be a little bit heavy though so do be careful nothing it hot enough to burn when using it!

VERY GOOD MUGS BUT SHAME ABOUT THE COST THEY SEEM OVER PRICED

Perfect just what I wanted.

I purchased this for my elderly mother-in-law to use with a Breville Hot-Cup as she has arthritis. The Hot-cup that we bought dispenses a fixed 250ml so this mug is ideal as it holds around 350ml and there is room for some milk. It is on the heavy side but seems sturdy. We decided not to but an alternative Melamine mug, which would have been lighter because we have read that these cannot withstand boiling water (risk of cracking) so we opted for this ceramic mug instead. A good purchase.

I ordered these for my mother in law as she has a tremor and finds it difficult to keep liquid in a one handled mug. These make her feel much more secure and she can safely drink hot drinks without danger of scalding herself. I was delighted to find that the price had gone down!! They are the same size and colour as a normal mug and, therefore, do not look like some helpful aids!! This helps her to feel the same as everyone else. She has taken one of them to the lunch club that she attends so that she can use it safely there.

My husband has Parkinson’s and sometimes has quite a tremor in his right hand, particularly in the mornings, so I thought a double-handled mug might help. I didn’t want to get him a melamine mug but was concerned by some reviews of this ceramic one saying it was rather heavy. I decided to buy one anyway as it’s not hugely expensive. Mr Q is really pleased with it. He says it’s a nice weight and very comfy to hold with either one or two hands. Successful purchase so bought a second one.

Für einen an Parkinson erkranktes Familienmitglied suchte ich nach einer Tasse oder einem Becher mit 2 Henkel. Auf den Amazon Produktseiten ist die Auswahl an Keramik dieser Art gering. Ich bestellte den ersten Becher bei der Firma A........ex. Mit der Qualität bin ich überhaupt nicht einverstanden. Im Innenbereich unter der Glasur befinden sich dunkle Punkte. Wo die Henkel angesetzt sind befinden sich Kuhlen, in denen sich Tee- oder Kaffeespuren schlecht herauswaschen lassen. Der Keramikbecher der Firma Aidapt erfüllt alle meine Erwartungen. Einwandfreie Glasur, zudem mikrowellengeeignet und spülmaschinenfest, siehe Foto. Was will ich mehr!

Bought two of these for a friend who couldn't find any, anywhere. She has advanced RA and needed this badly. She is a very happy coffee drinker again.

Das beste was ich meinem Opa schenken konnte, denn er leidet an Tremor. Und er ist dankbar nicht aus einer Kunststoff Kindertasse mehr zu trinken.
