This was incredibly easy to install and works great! My pool pump stopped working and after a little research, I figured out the capacitor was bad. Ordered this one and my pool pump was up and running in less than 3 minutes. I saved myself quite a bit of money and hassle by installing this myself. Two thumbs up!!

Great value and works as expected

Just installed this run capacitor to replace on my 16yr old pool pump which stopped working yesterday- thanks amazon for the speedy delivery too ! Took me maybe 2min to replace- worked like a champ and saved me $$$$ from pool company crooks lol.

Great item, fit perfectly and exactly as described.

These capacitors are generic thus affordable, and the electrical connectors are well-marked in a standard way, so electrical hookup is pretty obvious but the physical form size is not specific/standard to all AC units so obtaining a stable mounting/fit may take extra work and material. Shimming the cylinder to fit snugly into a band-clamp is what I had to do. Used a few small pieces of plastic-foam packing material. Seems fine.

Easy to install and did the job

Pool pump motor would only hum and not start. Luckily, I had a 35 uF capacitor on hand, as a spare for a 2-ton HVAC condenser unit. That 35 uF capacitor was physically too large to be permanently installed on the motor, but I used it to test/prove that the capacitor was the problem. I then ordered this one, it is a perfect fit, and the motor is back to running again.The most important part of this review is likely that the capacitor is a perfect fit replacement for this pump. You'll see review of other, similar-looking 30 uF capacitors, where the complaint is that they are slightly too large in diameter for the capacitor cover to be replaced on top of them. That is not a problem with this one.

I ordered this to replace the bad capacitor on my ac system. It had the exact specs of mine, arrived quickly and I swapped it out in about 15 mins and had the unit up and running again. It was a little skinnier than mine original one, so I had to be a little creative in mounting it, but it works great, so far.

J'ai utilisé ce produit pour remettre en état un groupe électrogène qui tournait très bien mais ne produisait pas d'électricité. Après changement du condensateur tout est rentré dans l'ordre. ATTENTION avant de passer commande de bien respecter les chiffres de l'ancien condensateur, dans le cas présent 18uF. J'avais précédemment utilisé un 10uF qui ne produisait que du .........15Volts. Le précédent datait de 11/1999, j'espère que celui-ci tiendra aussi longtemps!!!

Mein in die Jahre gekommener Elektro-Rasenmäher brauchte schon letztes Jahr mehrere Startversuche zum Anlaufen Jetzt stand wieder das Mähen an: er brummte und brummte und nichts tat sich, doch dann nach mehreren Versuchen die Hoffung "er sprang wieder etwas schwerfällig an". Die Familie sagte : "Kauf doch einen Neuen!" Doch da erinnerte ich mich daran, dann ein 1-Phasen-Wechselstrom-Motor eine Hilfswicklung mit einem großen Kondensator benötigt. Diesen Kondensator habe ich bei meinem Wolf-Mäher in einem schwarzen Kunststoffkasten entdeckt, die Daten fotografiert und bei Amazon einen Ersatz bestellt. Da ich es jetzt eilig hatte, habe ich die etwas teurere Version mit Prime genommen. Der Kondensator wurde eingebaut und der Rasenmäher-Motor startet sofort und brummte "wie Schmitz's Katze". Aber Vorsicht: als Elektroingenieur verfügte ich über die notwendige isolierte E-Zange (früher auch bei Amazon gekauft) zum Abziehen und Aufstecken der Anschlüsse und natürlich über die praktische Erfahrung. Also im Zweifel am Besten einen Freund/Nachbarn fragen, der im Elektrobereich praktisch tätig ist, sonst besteht für Laien/Ungeübte Lebensgefahr.
