Purchased this for my son, he felt the difference the first time he used it. Great quality product.

My child was struggling with tightening her ligature without making her reed slide up her mouthpiece. This ligature is a great solution as it grips the sides of the mouthpiece to stay in place while it’s tightening. It does sit on the mouthpiece upside down to how a normal ligature sits, as the tightening screw will be on top of the mouthpiece as opposed to the bottom. This allows the reed to be held firmly in place by the groves piece of plastic that sits between the reed and the leather band. Playability was as good or better than with the original ligature. Overall we found this ligature to be superior especially for our beginner.

I ordered 2 and not expecting the quality to be very good. I am a clarinetists and tried one for a few minutes. It’s ok for young students and is much less expensive than a Rovner. The box had a saxophone pictured but the label said clarinet. It is ok for clarinet and would probably fit some sax mouthpieces.

I mainly got this for the mouthpiece cover since my daughter cracked her old one. It fits her clarinet great, and I'm glad she's got an extra ligature if she ever needs it.

Cap was way too big - even if I didn't tighten the ligature at all (to hold onto the mouthpiece), the cap just slid right off of it and offered absolutely no protection.
