This deck is nothing short of amazing!! I have a very vast tarot/divination collection and have had the exceptional experience of being able to peruse many decks at my liesure. I just never found a copy of the original 1909 artwork by Pamela Coleman Smith that really hit home with me. The day I'd gone shopping for my first deck, I knew nothing at all about tarot cards. The clerk handed me a copy of the RWS and told me that was the best starting point but I just didnt feel it grab me. So, I ended up deciding I'd find a way to learn with a Morgan-Greer and a set of Ciro Marcheetti's Legacy of the Divine Tarot!THIRTEEN years have passed since then and I'm beyond floored when I tell you that I cannot wait to do a reading with the Gold Rimmed edition I purchased!!! Yeah, I have the 1070s copy of RWS and I have a Radiant Rider Waite tarot but they've been here more to round out my collection rather than because I adore the artwork. This deck however is class all the way - from the packaging to the card stock and the ink overlay, they're JUST STUNNING!!! The cards literally feel like tarot butter in your hands! The only 1 drawback I noticed is that the cards are quite slippery so watch out! They are easily dropped but I imagine with some use, that issue will resove itself. I'm hoping to buy a 2nd copy!!!

The media could not be loaded. True to Ryder Waite tarot, but the artistry with which these cards have been made is stunning. They aren't a tacky kind of foil image. These are classy. Even the back and the box are so expensive looking so the price is well worth it. Will admit as others have that these cards are extremely slippery. My first attempt at a quick shuffle left half the deck on the floor under the table. Lol! Kind of a good way of mixing the deck! 😆 With use I'm sure they will not be as slippery. Shuffled the heck out of them and did a quick pull. On point and cannot wait to use them with a client.Thank you for making this beautiful deck!!! The media could not be loaded. Wow, the quality of these cards is amazing!The detail in the artwork excedes my expectations. The holographic effect is beautiful. They are super slick! Maybe with time I’ll break them in a little, which isn’t a big deal. Just take some getting use to.The box itself is rather sturdy, although mine was torn on the bottom end. Seems as it may have been done during shipping. A corner is crushed. Still held up well though.The book is detailed and pictures are in color.What an amazing buy for the money. I say go for it. It’s a beautiful set. You’ll be proud to own it!

At first, it was hard for me to connect with these cards. I was a little frustrated because of how dark the cards are without being in direct light. But as I moved around the room under the light and spent more time with them I started to connect with them very quickly. The details are endless and so beautiful. I have only had them for a day and will update this if anything changes, but for now I believe I’m actually going to have a great time with these cards. Having them feels like being in the presence of something very powerful and true.I am also a beginner but have one previous deck. I needed to replace them because something was spilled on them and they frayed. I like these because they won’t soak anything up as they are gold foil. They are super sturdy but flexible, much more than I thought. They are slippery but it isn’t uncontrollable, you just have to learn to use them. They are definitely different than normal decks. I believe this deck has a lot of quirks but overall it’s one of a kind and is going to be my favorite for a long time.I don’t suggest this as a beginner deck, maybe as a second one. I suggest getting something that is more straightforward, easier to shuffle, and easier to read in any light if you are just starting out. But if you understand the basics and are familiar with the original deck, this one might be for you! ☺️

These cards are the most beautiful I've ever seen! They glisten, sparkle and come to life! The artwork is amazing, traditional to tarot and colored beautifully. Thin, sturdy and durable cards. Slick and smooth to the touch, they will slip out of the deck or your hands. Easy to shuffle and take in and out of the box they arrive in. Wish the book that comes with it was of better quality and larger print, it's a little difficult to read with my old lady eyes. Absolutely stunning and definitely worth the price!

As someone who has more than a few decks, this tarot deck may be the prettiest I have seen. The illustrations are clear. I love the guild on them it's truly beautiful.Some card decks are big, bulky and difficult to shuffle, these are a great size and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

As soon as you open the box you'll see a small booklet. The booklet explains each card and what it represents. The last few pages give you instructions on how to read the cards properly and what patterns to follow. The instructions are clear and sometimes self explanatory. I will say, the moment you take out the cards make sure you have a good grip. They will fall out of your hands like a bar of soap. After awhile the cards won't be as slippery and shuffling will be easier. Away from the packaging, the designs are amazing! The colors are bright and you just want to stare at them all day. Whoever created these cards and the booklet did an amazing job!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this deck on a whim and I’m so glad I did! Wonderfully sturdy and so easy to shuffle. They are VERY slippery cards, so you have to slow down and be intentional with your shuffle, but I think that’s a good thing. No spelling errors. The artwork is lovely and the textured metallic finish really brings the images to life. You won’t regret snagging this deck!

It's very hard to describe how beautiful this deck really is. I love the black boarderless boarders with the perfectly contrasted golden, luminous images.The use of blue, red and gold glimmer in the images is excellent - intelligently done.The cards are super slippery. I don't find this to be an issue at all. Some people seem pretty unnerved by it, but I think it adds life to your relationship with the deck :) 😉The deck looks fantastic in the light. If you want to do an evening reading, find a candle and watch the magic. It's pretty amazing.This is the second, of this style of deck, that I've purchased. The first was completely golden. I use them in tandum.I'm in love with it !
