A little tricky to put the tape in but my husband found it quite easy using the instructions.

I used this tape dispenser during a house move and it did come in very handy. Saved time versus using the tape alone, without doubt.I used it with the Ultra Strong Tesa tape. This tape is so adhesive it actually made the dispenser a little harder to use. Stiffer to unwind and harder to cut.The dispenser itself uses a plastic handle and metal frame. Blades can be hidden away under a plastic tab and there is a clear plastic part above to flatten down your tape.Pretty good item, feels durable enough and sure it will last a long time.

So useful for packing boxes up. Highly recommend.

I've only been packing my business orders by hand so far but with the cutting of the packing tape by scissors and with my teeth this has become a real pain and very time consuming.I required a very basic tape dispenser just to pack my parcels quicker so I thought this tape dispenser would do the job, but it does hold a few draw backs.Firstly, you have to undo the tape so you can thread it onto the dispenser and wind it through. But due to this piece of floppy tape with no where to go but to dangle there it does find it self getting a bit messed up.Secondly, to begin the packing process you really have to get a good slap of the tape on your parcel box before you can seal up the flaps probably. With that in mind a large parcel box is much more suited to this dispenser with the small boxes done by hand.Finally, you'll find once you begin to seal up the opening, the tape will probably not be aligned from the start therefore causing the tape to steer away from your sealing area which will result in the tape looking nastly packaged and you going over the same area again.For sure it's a solid, heavy duty dispenser that will last forever im sure so certainly no doubt on the quality of this item. Overall, plenty of practice is required with this dispenser but you'll probably find yourself packing by hand again saving this dispenser for another time.

In the process of moving so bought this to make sealing packing cases easier. Instructions not clear, but easy enough to work out. Surprisingly sturdy given the price. Keep fingers away from the tape cutting edge as it is very sharp.

Really pleased with this tape dispenser, it cuts like a scalpel blade, very sharp.I had a cheap one for more than a year, and to be honest that cheap one never did cut properly from day one, but I didn't know any better, I thought they were all like that until I tried this excellent Tesa Dispenser which is so nice to work with.Yes it is more expensive, I know, but it actually works properly! The roll doesn't fall out of the dispenser like the cheap ones, the tape comes out nicely, and it only takes a very tiny flick of the wrist to cut the tape!I will buy this one again in future, and I certainly will recommend it to others who have a lot of parcels to make or for those that are on the move to seal the boxes.
