Finally an easy fix for lousy helmet sound
I had an existing bluetooth helmet with the usual problem of the sound being drowned out at highway speeds. In my case the right speaker was much fainter than the left. I got the two strap open version of this product, detached the ear flaps and ran the straps through the top of my liner. My speakers fortunately have quick disconnects. I removed them and slipped them into the ear flap pockets after making a small hole where the wire would need to exit the pocket. There is a light grey foam insert inside the pockets. I removed this first and then put it back in over the speaker for added ear comfort. I reattached the ear pockets to the straps, plugged the wires back in, and used a rubber band to hold the chin strap to the chin straps of the helmet. Now after putting the helmet on, I tug the chin straps down to make sure speakers are over my ears, engage the velcro of the straps, then cinch my helmet strap down. I now have clear sound at any speed. An added benefit is that it made my helmet fit better...it was a little loose before. If your helmet is really tight this might not work for you. Money well spent.

Grudgingly- It does work
This DOES work but it was NOT an automatic, or easy, setup. It took a good bit of manipulation. One of the things most problematic is that the ear covers are designed to be placed on the OUTSIDE of the head strap. Being on the outside of the headstrap allows the helmet to pull the earpieces off the head strap, if you're not careful. Also, the headset makes the helmet noticeably tighter so, a larger helmet may be the thing to buy along with this device. Of course, now that I have a decent fit with the headset I may sew it together in an effort to address the issue of the helmet pulling things apart.

Hearing hurts after 1 minute.
Good for bicycle, not motocycles. Even with earplugs it's still loud. And the plastic things cups the noise to be even louder into your ears.

Excellent design, works perfectly!
bought the two-strap version. I tried to make something like this for myself several times for my moto, ski and bike helmets and failed. This product works perfectly! So comfortable that I forgot I was wearing it and cuts out ALL the wind noise even at 30+ mph (in open bike helmet). I used the included earcups and I use earbuds. One can still hear outside traffic and conversation if you need to. Not hot to wear either. Excellent product design, materials and manufacturing. From a professional design engineer, I say kudos! to the designer of this product. They nailed it. Highly recommended and is worth the money I paid, less than $20, but its worth 30, so functional.

Too clumsy and bulky
Great idea but it's just too cumbersome to use. I didn't get a chance to test it out because of how difficult it was to put on my helmet.

Definite Noise Reduction
Had (naively) expected zero wind noise. Will never ride without it because it does reduce the wind noise to where I would purchase again should I ever lose it!Is a nice upgrade. Music is so much more enjoyable!

Effective, but not immediately wearable
This ear shield is made with a petroleum-based product, so it smells (as any of this type would). I'm going to to wash it and leave to dry for who knows how long. Other than that, it's made well and does a good job. Given time (two or three weeks?) in the open and after another washing it even more to remove out-gassed residue, I expect the odor to completely dissipate. I would recommend it, with these admonishments.

Fit ok
All it really did was keep my earbuds from falling out, while Iwas on my bike
