Good resource, but many typos, and no articles.
I bought this book to begin studying medical vocabulary. It is useful in the sense that it has a lot of necessary vocabulary, and that the vocabulary is organized into categories (cardiology, neurology, etc). However, there are no articles provided with the Spanish words, which although sometimes are obvious, are not always obvious. So I used wordreference.com and linguee.com to look up the articles. As I did, I realized that there were many typos in the book. Examples include "conduto lacrimal" instead of "conducto lacrimal", "cutterage" instead of "curettage," etc. There are also several words repeated on the next line. Not just another translation, but exactly the same word and translation. It appears that the book was poorly edited.I am uploading a few photos of some typos, found all within just 2 pages. So, a good resource, but be prepared to do a good deal of the work yourself.

I also bought this book due to the affordable price and good reviews. This book seems to me as the author's personal glossary, however it'd have been nice if they had proofread it before publishing as it got plenty of mistakes (and i haven't even gone through the whole thing), like "herida de bala/ bullet would" appears in the English section under H and the translation is misspelled. I found several errors like these. I also think that some of the translations are not in neutral Spanish and must be specific to a country (like homeopathic doctor translated as "chochero"), other translations i found inappropriate like: "down's syndrome person as "mongolico" or "bow legged" as "chueco". I am new to medical interpreting and bought this to get up to speed with the most used terms, however i recently signed up with an agency, and i was required to translate a list of terms which seemed fairly common. For some that i wasn't so sure i intended to use this book and most terms i couldn't find, i ended up using wordreference.

Wonderful Resource!!
I love the dictionary! It's small, compact, and terminology is organized by specialties. What I love most about this dictionary is that it focuses on the most common terminology, which is perfect is ideal for Spabish medical interpreters!

Great find!
Great find! I recommend for all medical interpreters as a reference for use if you sometimes need to check on a word...

Very useful book
Besides the target audience of professional interpreters, this book is also very useful for this home health/hospice nurse who speaks just barely enough Spanish to get by.

Too many spelling errors
To many spelling errors. Some words were repeated and were used incorrectly.
