Just what I had been looking for!! Bought it for a w205 c class and after trying all sorts of holders, I just say this one is a must have for anyone in this Mercedes family generation.

Disappointed – Very Poor Quality for the high Price charged (20+ GBP), its broken and not in usable state I purchased the X-Rnio Car Phone Holder Mount expecting reliable quality due to its higher price point, but it has been a huge disappointment. Not only did the mount break after a short period of normal use, but it also scratched the fitting area in my car, which is extremely frustrating. The materials feel cheap and the design clearly lacks the durability you'd expect from a so-called premium product. For something at this price, you'd expect long-term usability and safe installation — unfortunately, this product fails on both counts. I strongly urge the manufacturer to re-evaluate the build quality and design, especially the parts that come in contact with the vehicle. Not recommended.

Time of posting this June 2025. I'm purchasing another one, I last purchased February 2024 and here's why I don't mind. I have a Mercedes A Class 2015. Round vents. I've joined forums, wasted hundreds on holders that simply don't cut the mustard like this one does. It's not broken as such but recently won't hold my phone without tipping, the cradle has weakened and to be honest £20 a year isn't worth worrying about. Well, it's been over a year actually. The mechanism is strong. It's one of the sturdy well built holders I've tried and I've spent vastly more on ones that don't work. So I do recommend this for round Mercedes A class vents.

My initial plan was to not use an air vent for the phone in the Mercedes GLC. And i didnt want the screen or buttons blocked. I tried a suction clamp but there are no flat surfaces unless you put it closer to the passenger side but it fell off when sitting in the sun for a few mins. The other option was a cup phone holder but that would have been too low in my opinion. There was no option but to use the middle air vent. It is basically the perfect position. I previously had a vent holder which had support 'feet' which would press against part of the dashboard under the vent keeping it very steady - later i found that it was scratching the dashboard as the car moved, albeit it was for 4 years. Saying all that... this round vent holder is bang on. It is perfect for Mercedes. The clamp pushes against the inner wall of the vent and doesnt touch the grills. The phone mechanism is so easy and good to use. Also when the phone is not on the holder, it blends in really well. If you are a Merc owner, dont look at any other type of device except this one.

Although it is a good design the holders do not have the endurance to work for an extended time. The gears inside break making it unusable. The spigot is very small in diameter and also breaks after a few months. I have had 3 of these and the same problem occurs. The design requires modifying so it can last longer.

I purchased X-Rnio Car Phone Holder for my girlfriend's parents, as they have a Mercedes with the round air vents and were looking for a phone holder that wouldn't block their view of the road (i.e. the suction cup mounting types). After hours of searching I stumbled across this product and decided to give it a shot as it seemed very well priced. They have been using it for a couple months now with no complaints at all. It was easy to install, is sturdy and the gravity style mechanism is really practical and easy to use. Given the extremely limited range of phone holders that suit the Mercedes round air vents I couldn't be happier with the product.

Works great. Firm fit. I must have bought the wrong model as it does not do wireless charging. No problem as I just charge my phone to the car usb port; works just as well.

I used it for 1 week and it started popping out and got bend from the sun, very bad and very expensive

Easy to set up. Works great with circular vents. Easy to place and remove phone. Will update review at 6 months
