Really good for the price
I drink a lot of coffee using a bean to cup machine!! After reading mixed reviews, I decided to give these a try, and I'm glad I did. The beans have a lovely aroma when ground, and the resulting brew is smooth with a well-balanced flavour. It's not too bitter or harsh, which I appreciate as I prefer my coffee black in the mornings. What really impressed me was the quality-to-price ratio - these beans offer a tasty cup of coffee without breaking the bank. While it may not be the most complex or high-end coffee out there, it's certainly a solid choice for everyday drinking. I'd recommend giving these beans a go!!

A Captivating Coffee Experience with Miofino Pelican Rouge BeansRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Miofino Pelican Rouge coffee beans, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. As an avid coffee enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for beans that promise a rich and memorable cup of joe, and Miofino's offering certainly exceeded my expectations.Upon opening the bag, the aroma alone hinted at the quality that awaited. The beans exuded a captivating fragrance that was both inviting and tantalizing. The packaging itself, with its elegant design and resealable feature, ensured the beans stayed fresh – a thoughtful touch that speaks to the brand's commitment to delivering a premium product.Grinding the beans released an even more intense aroma, promising a complex and well-rounded flavor profile. I opted for a medium-fine grind and proceeded to brew using a pour-over method. The brewing process was a sensory journey in itself, as the coffee bloomed and filled the room with its distinct scent. The first sip was a revelation. The Miofino Pelican Rouge coffee boasted a velvety-smooth texture that danced on my palate. The initial notes were surprisingly bright, with a subtle hint of fruitiness that added a layer of complexity. As the coffee spread across my taste buds, deeper flavors emerged – a delightful balance of rich cocoa and toasted nuts, culminating in a satisfyingly lingering finish. What truly sets these beans apart is their versatility. Whether enjoyed black or with a splash of milk, the Miofino Pelican Rouge beans held their own, delivering a consistent and deeply satisfying cup each time. The coffee's inherent smoothness meant that even those who prefer a milder brew could appreciate its nuances, while those seeking a bolder flavor could indulge in its robust character. It's evident that Miofino has taken great care in sourcing and roasting these beans. Nice aroma... flavour not on point for me!
Price is good. Nice aroma when brewing. However, I felt the other reviews about premium taste etc fell a little short of my personal tastes. Average flavour rather than a flavour to savour IMO.

Great tasting coffee
This coffee has an ok flavour. I was expecting a slightly better taste, however, not too bad to taste. This was a trial buy and I may buy again.

Very nice coffee
Well I've had a subscription for a while now, so it must be good! A bag lasts me 6 weeks of daily coffees, so ridiculously good value given the quality.

Don't buy this coffee!
I loved the now discontinued Pelican Rouge Barrista and 1863 blends and when they were unavailable I turned to this. It wasn't a patch on the old blends but it was OK. This is the fourth bag I've ordered and it's virtually undrinkable, no flavour at all! I've just tried grinding it a lot finer and adding 50% more and now getting a hint of coffee flavour but it's bitter.Sad how a once fabulous brand has let it's quality control slip. It's going in the bin..
