QE32Q50AE 32 inch Full HD TV with Smart Tizen Platform

A great tv, with a great beautiful picture and very good sound. Had to play around with the settings to get a brighter picture, then it was fine. Loads of settings in this tv. Has all the apps you need. Was very easy to connect with my Samsung phone. Suitable for a smaller living room. Also a great selection of Free Samsung TV Plus channels. Reasonably priced for what you get.

The sound is ok, picture quality is excellent, samsung plus is useless so with the 4 hdmi slots i was able to connect bt tv box, blu ray, ps2 but had to get a av to hdmi cable, amazon firestick which isnt needed with all streaming already on the tv, now tv, apple, netflix, youtube, amazon, etc. Easy to set up and fit perefectly on the top of my cupboard. Its better with ethernet cable than wireless with my router so far away.

I bought this as a Which? recommendation to replace an aged Sony which, although still working fine, had become obsolete as I wanted a smart tv. Picture quality is good, although I had to play around with the settings a bit as initially it seemed quite dark. Sound is OK, but a bit tinny as seems the norm with small flat screen tv's and would definitely be improved with a sound bar. Set up was reasonably easy, although took a while to go through all the steps and we are very satisfied with it as a good fit for a small room.

Great picture and sound

TV arrived on time and well packaged. Easy to set up, ideal for small room. Nice clear picture, but I do agree with other reviewers that certain programmes do appear a little dark. However I will try to remedy that with settings adjustment. Overall after having it for a few days am pleased with purchase.

I bought this TV to replace my old Samsung 3D TV bought 13 years ago. Basically for a smart TV it was so old that it was no longer smart! Sites detected that I was using an old TV and said that I could not use their service. However, the old TV seemed to have a virtual surround-sound system built in (probably because it was 3D), and so it gave a wonderfully 'full' sound. The picture on this new TV is great, and the TV works basically out of the box (with tuning of course). Others have said that the sound is tinny, but I have found that if anything it is a bit too bassy. I changed the equalizer settings on the TV to reduce the low frequencies and this improved things but it is still not ideal. It does not have the fullness of sound that the old TV did. So I have bought a (Panasonic) sound bar to go with it. It has helped a bit, but not as much as I had hoped. (That is another story and review though.) Overall the TV is fine, a great picture and passable sound.

Dislike the stand! love the fact that as a retired tv engineer the importance of this terrestrial receiver is that it meets UK specifications and on "Freeview" mines from Emley Moor in Yorkshire that it is a 50HZ tv not as high street ,offer 60 or 120HZ By default it should be 50HZ (but can be 100HZ- motion looks smoother)and will play USA dvd`s which are 60HZ by THEIR default! Not the other way round as motion images can jump/judder as a result on terrestrial broadcasts. The tv should show on set & box 220-240Volt/50HZ. NOT 60HZ I have seen items advertised as 50HZ and then find it says 60 after you have paid and the box handed to you,BE WISE/BE SAFE BUY FROM AMAZON for great shopping experience probably the best shop in the world & I never left the house, cheers...

The picture is way too dark , especially on Netflix films I switched off power saving and explored all the picture choices to no avail . Also you cannot see the full screen at the same time as changing values (I've brilliance, contrast, movie mode etc) this makes comparison after adjustments lengthy and tedious and really difficult.
