This more than makes up for my shoddy broken mattress. Fits the bed perfectly and stays in place all night with no problems. It’s a little harder than expected but still comfortable and helps sleep a great deal. My favourite purchase this year!

Ok , however, sinks in the middle very early

I bought this to make a very uncomfortable mattress a little more bearable, which it did, and I finally slept a bit better. I found it expanded as advertised but it does smell very strongly (a fire retardant chemical perhaps?) which took some time to disappear, perhaps a couple of weeks. It did what I wanted it to and for the price it was fine. Lost a star due to the smell.

Just a note if you're thinking about buying this- YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A FEW HOURS TO EXPAND! Then it will go to it's normal size. The reviews with photos of it not fitting are most likely photos of it straight out the box. This almost put me off buying it, but unfortunately people don't always read instructions and put photos up before they let it reach its proper size.I'm extremely happy with the product and service. After spending a fair amount on a higher priced memory foam mattress that we expected to be great, we found it hard and ended up in pain from pressure points,to the point that sleeping on an old wooden futon was more comfortable! We noticed this memory foam mattress topper from Southern foam and decided to give it a go. We are very pleased we did, it has transformed our bed! My partner no longer has hip pain and my body feels so much better the next day. The memory foam feels so comfortable and I sleep so much better now, it has helped me to now get a full night's sleep without tossing and turning from side to side all night. The memory foam feels like it supports my whole body. I've also got to mention that when it first comes out the box, it does need time to expand (after all it's been folded for some time in a box for transport) but it only takes up to about 4 hours to reach it's full size, expect a few bends and some discolouration straight from the box but after it's had time to expand, it soon forms a perfect shape and all indentations dissappear. I've attached a photo to demonstrate this. It is the perfect king size we expected.I realise some people don't like the smell of this but the smell of the memory foam is as to be expected for memory foam, all memory foam mattresses we have bought in the past also have a similar smell but after a day or two the smell does pass and it's very much worth the comfort!The service was also great, it was delivered earlier than expected. We will definitely return to this company in the future if we need more memory foam toppers.

A big improvement on the mattress it's been put onto! It's definitely more firm than I'd been expecting though, it would be nice if it had just a little more give to it. Otherwise very happy with it, quick delivery and a very reasonable price.

Had this waiting in my basket for a while... I have a memory foam mattress on my bed (not this one), and my autistic son has decided that he prefers mummy's bed, he sleeps like a log! So I don't move him 😐.. it means that I then have to sleep in his bed, (hes a bed hogger), I have 2 trapped neck and arm nerves, sciatica and suffer badly when hormones kick in and so sleep is very hard work!.. his mattress won't do for me and I missed my own bed!.. This mattress has blown my expectations away! I got it when the price went down, it arrived in 2 days very well packaged!, had no smell and took about 10 minutes to fall into its proper shape,... it says 2 inches and I'm sure it is but it honestly feels like 5! It bounces back beautifully and is just perfect!I highly recommend this if you're looking to Improve your sleep or your current mattress!
