Final update, June 2018My second pair of these binoculars has now broken as well. They had been in the glove compartmen of my car, and taken out and used for only a few times. I had taken them on severalk backpacking trips, during which they received no knocks.All of a sudden, on picking them up today, I can hear glass rattling. The left side is completely out of focus, just like the problem I had with the first pair.I cannot frecommend these at all - both pairs have failed, and although the customer service was very good, the product itself is just not good enough quality. I will have to pay more for a better brand.======================First Update: Excellent customer service from the seller, who not only refunded my purchase, but provided another pair free of charge. These have now arrived, and have been working fine for the last week or so. I will update again if they suffer the same problem of the firs tpair, whcih were clearly faulty.These are very lightweight, small and handy binoculars for backpacking. They are light enough for me to put them in the pocket of my walking trousers. I can't say I can see much difference between these 12x magnification binoculars from another small pair of 10x that I have owned for a while.At this price, the lenses are clearly not up to Zeiss standards, and the view at a distance is a little fuzzy. With a small objective lens diameter you cannot expect them to be as bright as larger pairs, but they are good enough for carrying around when you already have a bergan full of heavy stuff.================================It really was too much to expect that the price paid for these binoculars would produce anything that worked...They worked on the day they were delivered - used it in the garden to check how good they were, then on the next day everything was double vision !I am returning them.

These binoculars were bought for our 7 year old grandson specifically because the product literature stated they were easy to use for kids. Unfortunately when using for the second time they broke. The thickness of material where the hinge bracket joins the main lens housing is very thin. I do not consider them robust enough for kids useFollowing the failure of the first AccuBuddy Binoculars, AccuBuddy's after sales service was excellent. The binoculars were replaced free of charge very promptly with personal e-mail communication confirming at all times the action that was being taken. The second set of AccuBuddy Binoculars have performed very well.

The binoculars arrived really promptly and packed very well and seemed to be appreciated by the recipient whose birthday present they were. Sorry it sounds vague but it's hard to know when some folk are less enthusiastic than I would be! Anyway, I loved them and would have been thrilled if someone had bought them for me.

My previous pair of binoculars were small and lightweight but broke after a few months. AccuBuddy binoculars are much more substantial and sturdier but also fit nicely into my back pocket. It is also easier to adjust the focus and maintain position with these, and I get a much clearer view through the lenses. For their particular specification, they are as good as any other more expensive pair.Hope that helps.

Cannot comment as they were a gift

My son has a pair of these and he recommended them. I ordered these to take on holiday to the Alps instead of lugging my expensive, huge and heavy binoculars with me. They gave excellent magnification, are lightweight, can fit in my handbag and are exactly what I wanted. Only one problem, other people in the group kept borrowing them!

I bought these binoculars for my 11 year old grandson. When they arrived I tried them and was very pleased with they clarity and magnification, much better than a similar sized set I have from a different maker. My grandson is delighted with them, he and his mother were amazed at their quality.The carrying case is a very useful bonus. Thank you

Excellent value, I would have expected these to cost way more than they do!
