Toxic City Mall is a layered and diverse expansion to the Zombicide  Zombicide  game. It offers four new characters; with an eclectic mix of skills, new equipment, tiles, tokens, 8 zombivors and the dreaded Toxic Zombies.Although I was a little unsure about picking up this particular expansion, after my first taster mission, I was hooked. The equipment deck offers a wide variety of weaponry (pa's gun, assault rifle, ultrared weapons) and character bonuses (such as a gas masks with toxic immunity and scopes which add +1 to dice roll). These give your survivors more options, different ways to upgrade and navigate the doom-encrusted zombie apocalypse, in style.Even though all of the above seems enough reason to pick up this toxic-filled box of undead, the actual mall tiles and tokens were what impressed me most. It offers a whole new dynamic to the game, hunting and escaping toxic hordes whom injure you once slain in melee combat. Your survivors must weave their way through a mall which can be as much an open range or a labyrinth as you wish it to be. The mall offers a wealth of opportunities for heroic quests amidst the undead horde, and can turn the best laid supply run into a toxic death trap.Overall, even though this particular expansion was not high on my list, once I actually gave it a go, it converted me irreversibly. It is a challenging and entertaining addition to the Zombicide experience and offers bonuses and challenges. Upgrades to lure in the nervous novice, and a new breed of undead foe to keep the veterans interested.

I absolutely love Zombicide! It's a great fun co-op game and we all put our phones on silent which makes for a great evening of socialising. This game often comes out during the evenings and I have also enjoyed painting all the miniatures. This expansion doesn't come with many tiles but loads of survivors which means you could play with lots of friends. The extra weapons and the toxic zombies add a great mix to the regular and berserker ones that I already have from the Prison Outbreak set.

There are several expansions for Zombicide like this one. Each expansion contains new survivors and zombies, new campaigns and all of the dice, cards and rules required, plus a new set of street tiles to recreate the new areas. It's very high quality, and the box is packed full of items. The contents can be used in either campaign or skirmish mode, and it's fully compatible and interchangeable with the core game components.

I got this to add onto my zombicide season 2 to play with my mates and what a game! it just takes zombicide up to the next level with things like barricades (always good to have when things get hairy),rubble (pain in he backside),6+ survivors on most missions,extra equipment (some awesome weapons) and my favourite toxic zombies. This is a must have if you have zombicide season 1,2 or both.HAVE FUN.

Reviewers elsewhere have discussed what's in the box; plenty of figures and some interesting extensions and additions to the Season 1 games (you'll need a copy of either of the Season 1 games to use this Expansion Box). For me the major selling point of this,and the other games in the series, is the ease and speed with which someone can learn how to play the game. I can teach Zombicide to a gaming newbee in a matter of minutes (easy to learn, not always easy to win!). This, combined with the fact that Zombicide is a collaborative game with all players working together to achieve objectives, makes for an excellent evening's entertainment.

absolutely brilliant. have plaid it with my family from my 10 year old daughter who loves it to my cousins and friends. it is great fun. it does take a couple of games to get the rules but after that it was zombie splatting fun :-)

A great expansion to a great game...ZOMBICIDE! Toxic Zombies are pretty dangerous and the Abomination is horrific!

We bought this as a present and it has provided hours of fun. I never thought board games would make a come-back but this certainly has.
