Q: What is the height with them stacked together?

Ashly: The height of the box and top box together is 40 inches from the castors on the floor to the top of the top box. It has no liners for the drawers and i was hoping for a bigger box. So i use it for a roll around box for one small set of metric set of tools and other things. The bottom box will hold a corded drill and a cordless drill and other small corded tools. Easy to assemble, rolls good, and wheel locks are O.K. Used packing thin foam to line the drawers.
