Exactly as expected.
This part just saves me a few hundred quid. After getting inside the shower unit and comparing it with this solenoid valve, it seemed like the right one. The colour was slightly different, but the dimensions were identical. It fit in perfectly and worked right away. If you're not experienced or a professional, I'd recommend you don't do this repair yourself.

so thought I'd do a good deed and pass on what I learnt
This fixed the fault with my Mira Sport Max 10..8KW shower (no water flow and 'low flow' light illuminated.I searched the web for info on how to fit the coil on this particular model to no avail, so thought I'd do a good deed and pass on what I learnt.I'm no spark/plumber - this is what worked for me...• Kill the power and water supply so you don't have any nasty surprises.• Remove shower front cover - 2 star-head top and 1 bottom points.• The solenoid coil is located at the bottom of the unit, not accessible due to the plastic casing - you'll need to remove a few of the torque screws with a T10 piece. I removed 5 of them which allowed access. (Fig 1 in my uploaded pics - screw points highlighted in red which i've already removed in the photo).•The whole solenoid valve and attached water heater can now be pulled forward at the bottom to allow access to the solenoid coil. It's worth noting that when I disconnected the solenoid valve from the mains water feed it was pressurised and I was consequently blasted by a spray of water - don't know if there's a handy way to depressurise the unit but it wasn't a problem, apart from a wet face! (Fig 2).• Disconnect the clipped on wiring for the coil and the start/stop switch for ease of adjustment (highlighted by the red circle in Fig 2).• Note the colour order connecting the current faulty coil and disconnect.• The coil can now be removed - this takes a bit of brute force pulling it off the the valve - you may find use of a flat-head screwdriver helps start separating it. (Fig 3 shows the coil almost completely removed).• Pop the new coil on and reassemble.Hopefully this helps - I would have appreciated a walk-through!!Good luck!!

Part seemed to fit but not as easy as wedging it our with a screw driver, failed fix
The solenoid seemed to fit the Mira vista shower. But, as described was not easy to remove the existing solenoid.I had to loosen the part above it with a tool that most people would not have available to them. Screw driver type thing. I happened to have an electrical set of star adapters (screw driver type thing). However, when I removed the part above the solenoid which was preventing the solenoid from being lifted from its position this became unstable and bits fell out. I had no way of knowing how to put them back in and now need a new shower. The part did fit, with a bit of wiggling and bending of the components that need to be plugged back in, but was not successful in my attempt to get the shower working for more than ten minutes. (which was the solenoid fail issue I was trying to fix) Now it does not work at all as bits fell out. Well, at least I tried. The solenoid in the shower had connections that were bent to the connectors, but this was not the issue that made the fix fail,it was the part above the solenoid which had to prongs preventing it from being lifted out of position. So I had detached the above part with mentioned star screw, but bits inside of that piece came out of place. Cannot put it together again, not a chance to guess where they came from. It was not easy and it till failed. New shower needed now. :(
