Liquitex Professional Acrylic INK! 150 ml Jar, Carbon Black

I bought this to add to my paint for an acrylic pour painting. I saw a video on Youtube, where the artist was using it to create cells and lacing on her painting. As someone, who is very new to pour painting, I wanted to find a way to create cells without having to spend lots of money on other products that create that effect. I have to say, I am very impressed with just how well it works. It takes a fair bit of experimenting to perfect the recipe, as there are so many variables, such as brands of paint, pouring mediums used, etc. Experimenting is half the fun though! If you have not tried acrylic ink in your pour painting, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Colour is alot darker than shown here, that been said can't beat the quality.

Is thick with high density in the colour, been using it for washes on minis, and with right mixture (see on YT for more info) is just as good as the store bought washes. Great product for large scale painters looing to save cash.Still 4 star because was sent wrong size, beware of size.Original Title: Was sent 30ml when ordered 150mlMisleading and pursuing a return or refund as the item is 1/5 of what was needed.BEWARE to any that order that this is misleading price as 30ml is a third the price.

It's a very nice thing to have- I bought this for all the possible inks you can imagine - gold, shimmering, India ink, calligraphy ink you name it - I change ink quite often in some projects I have and you really need to wash the nib before using another ink otherwise it gets cloggy and you destroy your nibs.This one is perfect, not only for acrylic ink but for every ink.The smell ..is a mild alcoholic so I guess it's alcohol based.If you love your nibs don't use washing liquid...some might tell you to do so..maybe won't do immediate damage but on the long run, it will. Use simple water if you can immediately after using your nibs and clean it with this solution between ink and when you finish working.

Great product. The yellow did not look as bright yellow as it does in the photo when it arrived but it just needed a good shake. These are lovely inks to work with and work well on fabric as well as paper. Very happy with them.

Liquitex Professional Acrylic Ink is a rich, black ink that retains it's neutral tone when diluted with clear water. The ink mixes well with other colours in the range and also other mediums including acrylic paint, gouache and watercolour. Used neat it dries to an intense black with a satisfying, velvet sheen. On paper, or card, wetting a patch of ink that has previously dried, a small amount of pigment will bleed, but lines remain sharp and reasonably crisp.Placed on a flat surface, the bottle is very stable. It has a screw top and the neck is wide enough to dip pens and 1/2 inch brushes, but larger brushes will not fit.

Worked great using it for a dishwash with warhammer.
