Bought in 2012 and still very pleased with its performance. The only downside is the fitting, which can be sorted
if you can't put it on the seat tube, because you have a pannier rack and bag, what I did was to cut some old inner tube, wrap it firmly around the back 'rod', which goes from the top of the pannier rack to the hub of the wheel on the offside of the pannier rack, secure with some tape, then attach the fixing, if you have just enough inner tube wrapped around, you should be able to tighten the fixing up firmly, so it won't wobble or slide down.Excellent for cycling in shaded areas but could do with being a little bigger/brighter to be used in foggy conditions too.Perhaps they could make one for the front of the bike now!

A few things to consider but for the price it works well.
Quality is a little cheap but for something that's 3.5£ with shipping and works for days, you can't really go wrong. It's not waterproof so be careful islanders, not for a rainy day, though I stuffed every bit of hole with bluetac and superglue and now it seems to do a pretty good job in rain too, but experiment at your own risk :)Works for more than 12 hours if charged fully. Don't let it discharge completely , it may not wake up again, my experience with solar stuff.

Works well; but not for long
I bought 8 of these 18 months back - for the 7 cycling members of the family. They liked them a lot. Provided you don't store your bike in darkness, you can leave them switched to 'Flashing', and they will go on forever - even during winter.BUT: of the eight, only one is still working. Why? Because - for cheapness - the Chinese designers have made the lower shell casing as a sheet moulding, rather than an injection moulding. So there are open 'slots' under the rails which attach the light to its bracket. Water, dirt and dreck gets in through these slots, and the electronics rust out. Average life: 4 to 8 months. Longer, if you have a rear mudguard. But they're cheap and - until they break down - trouble-free. So buy several, and fit a new one each time one fails. So: worthwhile; but not great.

A nice bright little light at a great price
A nice bright little light at a great price... it should seat on the bike charging quietly and be ready when needed.!I always run more than one light for fear of failure leaving me without lights along way from home and batteries will all fail at the same time (I know not why - they do) so I try to have more than one system for lighting, dynamo and battery etc...This seems great as backup at a bargain price.

Red Sunlight
This solar powered light really works well. Although it is only two lights it is bright enough and there are enough flashing variations for all. The fitting is a little stiff and overly hard to get in and out mind. The fitting to the spar is also a little large, I had to pack it with the rubber remains of the previous light fitting.

I don't quite know how they manage to churn these ...
I don't quite know how they manage to churn these out for the price, but there. Quite well put together although the solar cell was much smaller and a bit shabby when compared to the picture. Whether it will be able to keep it up, as it were, is yet to be seen but the LEDs are certainly bright for the moment. I may update this review later.
