Pricey for soap but effective. washes off quickly with no soapy feel

I noticed in the mirror one day that ringworm had taken over my upper back. I have absolutely no idea where it came from, it just showed up one day out of nowhere.I was horrified when I caught a glimpse of it in the mirror. In my case there was no itchiness and no scaly feeling, so maybe I had a minor case. But visually - it was awful. Red blotches were all over my upper back. It looked terrible.I'm pretty flexible, but there are parts of my upper back that I just can't reach to apply any type of OTC cream, and any sprays I tried were hard-to-position and they smelled so bad I wanted to dry-heave. I tried this soap because it's the only thing that I was able to apply to my entire back without dislocating my shoulder.I got a bar of this (expensive!) soap and within *three days* my back was back to normal. Any discoloration had completely gone away. Like, completely. My back was clear.All I did was replace the bar soap that I normally use with this bar and showered with it once a day for three days.The instructions say to lather up and leave it on the affected area for 1-2 minutes before rinsing it off, and that's what I did. Don't worry about it dripping off you - this soap is very slimy once it's on your body (but not in a gross way) and it will definitely stay in place on its own. It really does smell great, and it's easy to rinse off.Don't bother with creams or sprays. They are GROSS. This bar contains the exact same active ingredient (tolnaftate 1%) is just as effective, and is much more pleasant to use.The only downside, if there is one, is there's no competition in this market to help drive the price down. Defense seems to be the only brand that has integrated this medication into a bar of soap. There are many other antifungal soaps on Amazon, and a lot of them even use tea tree oil, but none contain Tolnaftate. Still, one bar is still cheaper than a doctor's co-pay or an OTC treatment.Highly, highly recommended.

By the time I used up my first bar, I have to say, I was CURED. The problem went away, and did not return. I have skipped some days in the meantime, left with just a sliver, and not having any issues any more, and nothing came back. So, in my opinion, this soap REALLY WORKS and REMEDIES the issue, LONG-TERM.I got another bar as a spare, because it worked so well. I wanted to make sure I had one on-hand if ever experiencing the issue again, because NOTHING ELSE worked as well as this did... and this was far easier to use.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Effective, as good as, if not better than, most anti-fungal creams tried. Good smell, good feel after usage. Excellent.

Great soap for removing fungi from the body. No strong odor. Very effective. Long lasting. Easy to use & lathers okay.I recommend it for anyone with a fungus as it will help clear it up quickly.

For people who generally have sensitive skin (and especially when it is acutely hypersensitive), be cautious when using this.This actually dried out my skin, giving it a rubbery texture, and made the symptoms spread even.If you do tend of have sensitive skin, I’d recommend trying it on one body part and seeing how it reacts (1-2 hours after application). If you do experience dryness and burning, you might want to refrain from using it.I personally think this is a great product, just that my skin can’t handle it.
