Boskke is a New Zealand product design firm. Our mission is to help garden design evolve and meet the need for greenery in urban spaces by improving on conventional gardening products. With the Boskke Cube, we have deconstructed the traditional plant pot and put it back together in a literally more transparent way. The clear plastic body reveals the water, soil, and roots of the plant, allowing you to witness first-hand the mechanics of plant growth.

Reservoir Cube's easy-to-fill water reservoir supplies up to four weeks of moisture through the studio’s Slo-Flo watering system. Sizes Cube comes in a single small, large, and a trio small which is perfect for your three most-used herbs in the kitchen, or three different coloured flowering plants. Top up the reservoir as required via the circular hole in the top, and the removeable lid allows you to clean dirt from the water to keep it looking pristine. Cube is presented in a lovely gift box. Great Mother's Day present
I bought this for my Mother as she has a poor track record with plants. She absolutely loves it, and is currently growing one of the most health Chillie plants I have ever seen. It's incredibly easy to set up and and you can truly forget to water your plant for a whole month, and when you do remember it's the easiest thing with the small hole in the top corner of the pot.The clear pot is surprisingly resistant to algae, although I don't know if hard water will have anything to do with this, your experience with soft water may be different. It does occasionally gather sediment at the bottom but you can easily detach the pot into two parts and rinse it in running water.The only issue we had was with the clay disk at the bottom of the pot. It's removable and therefor needs to be pushed in as far as possible to make the whole thing watertight before you add the soil. We found this out the hard way. I would put this down to personal error more than a defect with the product as the removable disk will probbibly make it easier to clean when the time comes.All in all a great product that I would recommend to novice and avid growers alike.

Does not appear to work
Does not appear to work despite following the simple instructions. I followed the instructions and although the water does go down very minimally it is not enough to water my shop bought basil. Only the bottom seems to get damp. I have been topping up. As the weather has improved the condensation causes algae to form. I bought this as my basil droops if I am away for a few days and of course for summer holidays but this is not fit for my purpose. Disappointed.

The perfect pot, especially for orchids
This is the best pot I've ever had, I would recommend it without hesitation, especially for orchid owners.The design is not only beautiful and clever -the two separate pieces, the lid with the pot and the water container, are fully transparent and fit perfectly- but also completely functional: it allows the roots to get sunlight and the plant to take water gradually at it requires it, so you don't have to worry about under of over watering. Refilling the container with water every month or so is enough, being the perfect solution for watering your plants during the holidays, which is the reason why I bought this pot in the first place.My Phalaenopsis not only looks amazing and waters itself thanks to this pot, but also it's growing as healthy as ever.The only drawback, the hole through which you are supposed to pour water into the container is too small, so you have to be very careful so not to spill it. That little inconvenience aside, this is the perfect pot!

Not sure it works , it's tiny and expensive for what it is!
The size is good for a small plant , I don't think it waters the plant in it , it's too expensive for what it's meant to be let alone what it is!

Very unusual pot
Great idea! For everyone who are not confident with growing a plant at home in case it would died “again”! The only thing is I should buy the bigger one. The small one is really small.Recommend
