I Have bought 3 sets of these. I also bought a much cheaper version. The cheap ones did not allow much room for my ears and also were not very secure. I think my earings are worth the security of a better product. These have a wider opening to accommodate my ears yet the are quite strong in their grip. I agree with whoever said that there is a risk of breaking off the studs whilst bending them to go in these converters. So far mine have nor broke but could easily.

Of 3 pairs of earrings, only one pair has survived. These are no good for converting earrings, but may be ok if making earrings from scratch. Would not buy these again.

I liked them as I was expecting to be.
