I'm now on my 5th purchase of various sizes and can't be happier! Excellent performance! If anything the lights are TOO bright and have to be reined in a bit to prevent algae growth. They provide the perfect customization for my 2 specialty 'black water' tetra tanks!!! Best "bang for the buck" of any LED aquarium light sold here on Amazon! I highly recommend! I use them on all 6 of my tanks!Having the settings/control pad integrated into the unit itself is an added bonus which is a feature I love.Despite other reviewers' comments the case is aluminum and does not get hot. So no worries there!I must note that the units are NOT water resistant in any way despite the seller's claims, one must separate the light from the aquarium moisture by using a standard glass or 'plexi' lid. Not a big deal though ...( PS: the instructions, provided in clear readable English, are okay if you are not a dumb-dumb. They are easy to follow but hard to remember)I love these LED light units! I will continue to buy more if needed!

Very glad we bought this. Installation is simple as is operating the unit. I am happy I didn't buy one with a wired remote. Having controls on top not only looks better but makes adjusting easy. My husband just now asked me what I'm doing. I said writing a review on the aquarium light. His response I LOVE IT!

I LOVE the features. The power of the "DIY" programmable timer is fantastic. However, the instructions for programming are translated to English by someone who does not speak English as their first language. BUT, once you do figure it out, it works well. I have a sunrise hour with amber light, full-spectrum all day, and blue "moonlight" hour before it turns off. I currently have 10 tanks, all with these lights, pretty impressive when they all turn on or off, or change brightness during the day! And great control for giving enough light for live plants, great fish viewing, but not too much for algae explosion. The unit is capable of producing WAY too much light. The highest I let mine get to is 50% during peak of day, and algae is mostly manageable by snails and algae eaters, only an occasional scraping of the front glass

The brightness and color options have significantly enhanced the look and health of my heavily planted tank.The customer service experience with representative Luna was exceptional. They replaced a light that went out within the year warranty without any hassle. That alone makes this product and company worth buying.The configuration was easy to understand.51: on and off52: night light on and off limited to red, blue or green53: Different light levels, as depicted in their advertisements, are available. This setting is great as I can simulate a sunrise for 30 minutes, have the light on for four hours, turn it off for two hours, and then back on for another four hours, ending with a 30-minute sunset(Sorry not sorry my tank glass is covered with algae for my snails and shrimp)Highly recommend!

This is great. I haven't tried to program it yet but my fish and plants are very happy!

One year later. unit just stopped working. No reason. No power outage, just stop turning on. Powers supply still meters correctly , the entire light went pad.

LIKES : nice programming on the top/ its watertight. brightness is good for fish or lower light plants. not so for corals. like the 24hr timer does a 30min creep up and down brightness. Does not rust YET!DISLIKES : programming is a bit too confusing for me, the amount of light color changes is un-necessary for my use, but if you like to tinker all day with it, more power to you. rather a temp probe on it instead. many programs to choose, to me not so good. LEDS dont like taller tanks. 5w shy of the minimum w per gal,I suggest the next model up for a 29g. at least you get 1w / gal. or a 40 breeder will be better.

Very bright, great light. Solid design. The instructions are detailed but the actions on the controller will take a bit of getting used to. I like that it can register as a 12 hour am/pm or a 24h clock to set all the timers to. Great value, hope it lasts longer than a year.

Elle a rapidement soumis un remplacement et m'a informé que je n'avais même pas besoin de renvoyer l'ancien article. Son service a été exceptionnel, et je recommande vivement ce produit et ce vendeur pour leur excellent support client.

Le prix est raisonnable par rapport à la qualité. Ce n'est que difficile à programmer si vous ne prenez pas la peine de lire le livret ou regarder les vidéos tutoriels sur la page d'achat. Je recommande.
