I love this. Very simple design that does exactly what it should. Unlike with other holders there's no wiggle, rattle, or sliding of either phone or holder, ever. Thank goodness! It keeps my phone safe from accidental damage while driving even when I don't need the GPS so I always use it when I drive anywhere. Just to be sure it would stay in place I used the sticky pad on the holder to attach it to my dash, which I'm glad they included since it's worked great. The base is larger than on some holders and needs to sit on a fairly flat spot on the dash but my dash is not completely flat and it still works just fine, and I don't have to have the holder in a place which obstructs my view while driving like other holders do. It opens wide and very easily and seems to have the perfect amount of grip. May be good to mention that I don't have a bulky phone case because I don't like them and my phone isn't the size of a tablet, but it's not tiny either. (My phone is a little over 6 by 3 inches). Since my phone goes in the holder sideways I can still plug it in to keep it charged on long trips, which was a necessity for me. Some adjustment may be needed in how you place the phone depending on the locations of your volume buttons. This may be different on your phone, but mine has to go in the holder with the right edge down so the volume isn't turned down when I put my phone in it, and this puts the charger port on my phone in the opposite direction of where it plugs into my car. Even so the charger cord never gets in the way so it's definitely not something I'd deduct a star for. I'm really glad I got this and it's so worth the price.

It does what it says but it's not enough. I upgraded to the iOttie. It has a smaller foot print and adjusts.

This case is a UNIVERSAL FIT..even with a case. My guess is that this would fit most any phone under 6".I have a wallet case for my Samsung Galaxy J7 and do not wish to take it out when I need it as a GPS. .I have been searching all over for one that fits WITH a case..Alas, I found it!For now I have secured it with some clear Elmer's glue which is holding it securely in place. i don;t see it leaving much residue should I decode to remove it, but see no need to since it works quite well for its intended purpose.

Don’t waste your time if you live in a place where there’s sun! Used it for one day, and my phone overheated witchin 15mins. Placed anywhere in the dash board and my phone turned off from overheating, because the sun it’s everywhere on my dashboard.

I wanted a suction holder as my 14 inch GPS 's OEM suction cup does not work well. The bottom of the OEM suction cup is too small and The GPS is easily to fall down during the drive. I tried this holder for two days and it could hold my GPS very solidly. The GPS does not drop once. The major advantage I see is its large suction bottom.This helps the holder to stick to the car's dashboard and support the stability of the GPS. Another good thing I love is GPS is very easy to be grasped by the holder and can be removed very quickly. I do not like to stick GPS to the front window as this could impact the safety of this car.

Lasted about 2.5 months before breaking. I used it in my car and it worked great. My daughter needed a holder for her phone in her car so I was going to lend her this one. I took my phone out and as I was putting her phone in (the identical size phone), the top holder part snapped off. The little plastic rings that hold it to the base are very flimsy and they just split when I lifted the top holder to put her phone in. It's crazy to me that it's so cheaply made that you can't even swap out a phone. Very frustrating.

This is perfect! Stays put on my dash and holds my phone tight. I have not had one where I've taken a trip and the phone hasn't fallen. We took a trip this weekend and it held the phone and worked great. The only thing is you have to place your phone on horizontally but it's just something I will have to get used to. Not a big deal at all.
