Only problem I ran into was at a locksmith having trouble to fit the key with the actual fob part itself into their key cutting machine. It's a bulky key. It was pretty hard to clip it together but it works great

Will not fit 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse as described. Key itself is totally wrong. Be careful when purchasing fob replacement for any car, and look elsewhere. I threw it away as seller wanted to charge me return shipping that was damn near the purchase price. Amazon just credited my account. Don't buy from this seller

My 2012 Mitsubishi Galant key case was damaged with missing buttons and cracked shell. The electronics worked but the case was shot. I got this not intending to cut a new key but simply to get the case parts and have a new key case. It worked very well. I used the key and attached bottom half of the key shell and electronics from the key I already had and the rubber, red cover, buttons and top half from this key. It all fit together very well and now my key looks perfect and works easily and smoothly like it should. I had a silicone cover already so I slipped that on as well but it's not necessary. Overall very satisfied with this item. Just look at the year of your vehicle and be sure to order the right version. The extra blank I am left with I'll probably get cut somewhere if it's worth it for a spare but they don't start the car without the electronics inside.

The shell and buttons feel super sturdy, better than the original plastic fob. The tabs on the back of the buttons were too long and pressed the trunk button held so I had to shave that off but other than that, the case is good. Also, the key was a little longer but still the same style as the original, I would recommend when getting it cut, take the key out of the slot to get proper measurements when cutting

Pretty good product if you only need the plastic key fob replaced. My original had completely fallen apart. The only bad thing about this product is that the original key for my Mitsubishi Eclipse 2012 did not fit into the new slot of the plastic fob. I couldn’t turn on my car with the metal key itself without the fob attached. I had to get quotes to cut the new key and they were all crazy expensive. Home depot doesn’t cut these kind. Ended up going to Ace Hardware where the nice cashier was able to shave the sides of my original key down so that it would fit into this new key fob. Overall, i’d recommend buying a key fob that fits the exact model you have, because this one didn’t fit mine. The pieces are very sturdy though and i believe they will last me longer than the original fob.

I have a Mitsubishi lancer 2011 and I broke my key. I ordered this one and all I had to do was swap the electrical board inside the fob to the new key and get the key cut at Ace hardware. Everything fit perfectly. Didn't have to modify it at all for anything to fit.

It worked great except the key where the screw goes was not squared but pointy on the sides so i had to grind it to make it a fit on the fob. Still looks and works great

My key fob fell apart. Literally, into pieces for my Mitsubishi Spyder. Quotes were ridiculous. For 3 days, I wondered how I would manage. Then...I thought Amazon. I ordered this fob. Transfered it to my working key and voila. Saved 600.00
