Our dog out grew his old doggy door. He is a lab/golden retriever mix weights 100+ lbs and is pretty tall. He goes through this with ease. Now that we have had this for a few months the deal is starting to rip a little bit. Would purchase again.

The media could not be loaded. Well built, I installed it in a metal door. I used an oscillating multi tool with a metal saw, making the hole took me about 20 minutes and completing it after adjusting the cuts around 20 more minutes. I used the short bolts, there were longer ones but in my case, the inside and outside barely overlapped I don't think this will work on thicker doors or something would have to be put in between them to close the gap.Now I'm training my dog 😅 making good progress, I'll come back to upload a video once he makes itUPDATE: Rocky already did it! Didn't took so long but I had to be patient, used some chicken franks to encourage him to get closer and touch the door. Then threw some outside and he started trying to push the door. Somehow he felt more comfortable coming in than going out, I ended up using a cat sound from YouTube to make him come out and that worked like a charm!

It’s been installed a month and looks great, except the door flap is already cracked. Very disappointing that it cracked already, if it wasn’t so inconvenient to remove and send back I would return. Our dogs are not that rough. We had another dog door, different brand, for years and no problems

This door didn’t make it a year before the door cracked badly. Like other reviewers, the weather stripping fell off pretty quickly also. I originally received a door that had cracks in it upon delivery so I returned it for a replacement. So this is the replacement that eventually cracked also. Buyer beware that is a significant size hole you’ll need to cut in your door for install with no options to replace just the door flap when it fails.I found a Replacement product that’s much cheaper and almost an identical fit to this door cutout: Trixie Pet Products 2-Way Locking Dog Door, Medium to X-Large Dogs, White. Trixie door will also fit a thinner storm door.

This doggie dog was perfect for my little 10 pound dog. She goes in & out anytime she chooses now & I don’t have to worry that she needs out & I am not home to let her out! Fairly easy installation & it took her no time at all for her to learn how to use it. It was well worth the price!

Somehow we overlooked that the only sheet of paper in the box, with the instructions written in it, was also the template to trace the dimensions of the cut out, so we ended up measuring the hole, and being slightly off and have to keep making adjustments, lol. Without that “mess up” it probably took us 1-2 hours. Had to cut the screws that were too long because the others sent were too short.We also needed to caulk around the frame because our door shape allowed gaps for wind and water.After all that, it worked fine. My🐕 are getting the hang of it.

Worked good until winter hit and the plastic door broke.
