Now my “go to” toner
I had grown my roots out to over four inches long and wanted to get back to an all over colour. Instead of box colours I looked into wella and what professionals use and got this. I brought a Wella 20% developer cream and after bleaching my roots (I used another bleach as had packets left over from ages ago) and scared my partner with the yellow appearance of it I mixed one tube (60ml) with 60ml developer (1:1 ratio) but I was a little nervous so only left it on for ten mins. I shouldn’t have been nervous as the colour was gorgeous and a nice shiny light ash colour. I also used this toner on my mum (who is in her 80s and doesn’t like trying new colours) as her hair was quite yellow. Not only did it rid her of the yellow but it also lifted her roots (which were about an inch long) Really like this and I shall stick with it and maybe even try another shade in the future.

Quick delivery. Great colour. This product requires a developer.
I used 30g of Wella Illumina 10/1 lightest ash blonde mixed with 30g of 12% 40 vol Welloxon perfect developer to do my own highlights using a long retired (or so I thought) highlighting cap. My natural colour is a mousey light brown, I had few cm of regrowth and my overall colour was looking dull. I normally have alternating bleach and ash blonde high lift colour foils at the hairdresser so I knew it wouldn't be as light with the high lift only. I wanted to soften the regrowth line and brighten my colour but I didn't want to use bleach as I've nearly grown out my last frazzled DIY bleach disaster and I wasn't about to undo all the work my hairdresser did to fix it! I pulled through a t-section of highlights and let the colour develop for 35 mins. When the developing time was up I didn't think it had worked but after rinsing and drying it I could see it had actually lifted quite a lot. The colour is a good neutral blonde and blends with the hairdresser's colour really well. I used a Bleach London reincarnation mask after colouring.

It's terrifying when you bleach your hair and it's canary yellow, this toner is excellent leaves you with a crisp Ash blonde with no hints of yellow

Love the colour
I would normally go to the hairdressers but because of lockdown I’m unable to. My roots were really bad so I decided to bleach my roots, They went very yellow! so I ordered wella 10/1 lightest ash blonde, And mixed 1.1 with wella 20 vol developer and managed to achieve the colour I wanted.
