Can't Touch The Low Price, Stronger Than the Ones I Got at the Big Box Store - BUT - They're Shorter
The last time I poured concrete, I bought some rebar chairs at the big box store. They worked, but I wasn't exactly impressed with them. I broke a couple snapping them onto rebar footer frames I welded up. So I thought I'd give these Amazon ones a try. They are a lot more durable than the ones I got locally. The plastic is thicker and I think you'd have to abuse them to break one. Having said that, they do not hold rebar going in both directions like the ones from the big box store, you'll have to lay down the bars going one way with these chairs and then wire the cross bars on top of them to the bars below. These chairs also keep the rebar closer to the bottom of the pour, which based on my understanding of concrete work is a good thing. The big box store rebar chairs hold the rebar at 2" and 2-1/2" up from the bottom, and the Amazon rebar chairs hold it up 1-1/4".These are definitely different from the last ones I used, but the differences seem to make them better, and the price can't be beat. I'm giving them 5 stars. If this size will work for you, I think you will enjoy using them, too.

Does not hold fiberglass gatorbar
Kinda flimsy, and doesn’t stand straight for long. As soon as we started pouring concrete more than half tipped over. Save the money and invest a little time breaking concrete to lift your rebar off the floor.

Very brittle
They did what they are supposed to do but about 1out of every 5 broke when installing them or before installing them. They still hold the rebar up off the ground so they did what they were supposed to do.

Sturdy And Easy To Use
It's very much self explaining how these work. In case it's unclear: These are spacers for concrete rebars. Best used for slabs that require precise structural support. I used some similar to these for my balcony over my garage. If everything is right these just snap into the rebar. I haven't used these yet but by the look and feel they should do the job. Five stars from me.
