Beach Bags and Burglaries (A Haley Randolph Mystery Book 7)

Haley's back and off on vacay with the girls to a luxurious island retreat. Lots of fun in the sun and hunting the latest bag, the Sea Vixen tote, is on the menu. Haley being Haley though, can't help but get involved in the investigation of the murder of a staff member of the island. I thought this book had a lot more internal dialog than previous books but again it shows Haley's loyalty and determination. Her love life is getting more and more compliated and I can't wait to see how that pans out in the future. And that ending...OMG!! Keep them coming, Dorothy Howell!

I have read all of the Haley Randolph mysteries and I don't know if its me but this character is starting to get on my nerves. She thinks way too much of herself, she barely has a job but is able to afford all of these expensive purses that she always "has to have" and I find her way to shallow. This book I found boring and predictable. And although it doesn't normally take me very long to read one of her mysteries this one took me over a month because I just couldn't stay interested.

Such a crazy bunch of characters that had me interested throughout ! The storyline was so very amazing that I couldn't stop reading till the end. This is a must read.

This is not my first Haley Randolph book. I’m not so sure that it won’t be the last, however. Like in previous books in the series, continuity and proofreading seem to be an issue. This time, however, I even caught switches from first person to third person. It makes it hard to keep up with the story.

Love,Love Haley Randolph !! Cant put the story down as I keep turning page after page. For pretending to be a sleuth and always solving murders before the paid professionals do. Keep writing Dorothy!!!!

This is a series that should be read from book 1. The book is about Haley who would kill for the latest handbag. Since I love handbags, this story line was right up my alley. She gets into so many predicaments and you wonder how she will ever get out of the mess. It's funny but moves right along with many surprises. After each book, I can't wait for the next. This author has become one of my favorite.

Ok, I think this is the first book in this series that I've rated a 5! I'm hooked. Ms Howell ended this one making it unbearable waiting for the next one! Gah! No idea when the next book will be out, I can't wait! Haley can still be irritating but I'm totally sucked into the stories! They've gotten more popular too.....the price has really risen on these books. As with Janet Evanovich, I'm waiting for the next one!!!

I have read this series from the beginning. I usually do not know who committed the crime until Haley uncovers it. Sometimes she gets a little to carried away with finding the new purse. I do enjoy the story lines and the characters in the series.

Easy read

Haley Randolph doesn't get older - she gets better! Another fantastic fun filled thrill ride from Dorothy Howell. I van't wait for the next volume!
