Sturdy quality, a little hard to snap the cover on but that just means it won't pop off on its own. Bought these to make my own photo keychains and I'm so happy with them

These are like the perfect size for displaying random little doodles or pictures you have! The backing snaps into place tightly too so you don’t have to worry about the pics falling out!! Only problem is that all of them have a couple of scratches. But they’re not really noticeable from far away, so it doesn’t mess with the picture quality too much. Very nice!

*Ignore the photos in the keychain. They were for my teenage daughter lol* Perfect little keychain. (With one minor complaint) PROS: They all came individually bagged (and then all bagged together) so there was very minimal scratching. And honestly, clear polycarbonate material is always going to get scratched. It's the nature of the material. They all came with the covers already SEPARATED from the main part, so people don't have to worry about trying to pry them apart to put a photo in. However it really isn't difficult to do. There is a tiny notch at the bottom to stick something small inside and pop the cover off. When you do put the cover on there is a very distinct SNAP sound to know it's in there. I can't be certain how secure they will stay together during everyday use since I just started using them. But you can always put a little line of clear super glue around the edges to ensure it stays together. CON: My only minor complaint is I started printing the photos BEFORE they arrived. So I used the dimensions in one of the Amazon photos, which is 1.7"h a 1.1"w. Those actually are NOT the dimensions the photos should be cut at. That's the dimensions INSIDE THE BORDER AREA of the cover. So all my original pics were way too small. Again, nothing major. I guess those dimensions are also somewhat important to know since according to the other Amazon photos, the FRONT of the keychain is the side WITH the cover. But I didn't notice that at first and assumed AND preferred that the opposite side was the front. I made them double sided anyway with 2 photos. SO FYI...The photos should be cut at 1.81" high x 1.23"w. If you want the side WITH the cover to be the front, or want them double sided, make sure the main image/faces fit within that 1.7 x 1.1 or the border/edge of the cover will overlap the parameter of the photo, which slightly distorts it. Used for a memorial keychain for a passed over one great for homemade projects and crafts or o even sale

Old adage: You get what you pay for and both the pro and con of this product is that they are cheap. If you are looking to do something special as a gift, I'd say look for other options. If you are looking to create tags for extra keys (say house key to give to a friend with a photo instead of an address or name as the "key"), then these are serviceable. I ended up with 1.77" width and 1.27" height on an image in a Word doc where I was printing the same photo for front and back of all six. Yup, this material will show scratches. Assembly proved to be more challenging. I have five of six finally done after lots of wrangling and some pounding. With a couple of them, it seemed doing the long side first worked better for finally getting the top to click into place. The last one is fighting me no matter what the angle. I am contemplating options with tools shy of taking a hammer to it. But they will work for my purpose, which is not a gift - hence, three stars. I cannot speak to durability, but these won't be subjected to every day use where again, may want to look at other options.

if i could give this one star, i would. the plastic is very cheap. they arrived scratched up, the frame does not stick together. don’t purchase this item, save yourself the money.
