Grain Wood Furniture Shaker 6-Drawer Dresser, Solid Wood with a Cherry Finish

Very impressed with the workmanship and quality of this furniture. The packaging keep every piece secure during shipping. The instruction graphics were spot on and easy to understand. Assembly takes time, but the results are well worth the super solid end result. All of the fasteners are great quality, with alignment dowels, pocket screws and half-moon nuts (no cheesy cam fittings). The end result far exceeds multiples of the price point. The drawer slides are roller type, which look and work fine, however I installed 14-inch black full extension slides (Lontan) instead, which fit perfectly right into the pre-drilled screw holes in the dresser frame, and the drawer portion installed 1-1/8 inch back from the inside drawer front about 1/8 inch up from the drawer bottom.

Even more beautiful in person. We are thrilled with how nice this dresser is. There are a ton of parts to put together but the directions are very clear. And the quality is very nice for the price. We are always worried about the quality of furniture we buy online, since it is hard to judge based off photos meant to advertise it, but this one is an Amazon treasure. The drawers are sturdy and open easily. The wood is pretty heavy (a good thing) but not too heavy to where moving it would ever be a problem. And its a perfect size for the room we used it it. Great height.

The product is good. I really enjoy how it looks. It is a stout dresser. The assembly was pretty straight forward if you are pretty handy. My biggest complaint is about the plastic locking system. I had an issue with my drawers not opening, and it was all because of the "intralock" system that you install in step 2. My drawer wouldn't open, so I had to take it almost all the way apart to get it opened. When I had it mostly apart I removed the lock system, because in my opinion it is not needed.

Arrived in two separate boxes, one the day after the other. Right out of the box you can tell its quality solid wood. Took 3 to 4 hours to assemble give or take and I put it together by myself using an impact. The directions were very easy to understand. The drawers have safety features like they will only pull out halfway, and only 1 on each side can be open at a time. This is the best quality dresser I've ever owned, and I love it!

Way above our expectations. We are so surprised by the high quality of this dresser. It is made far better than many name brand furniture store pieces we have owned. Nobody wants to assemble furniture, but the instructions were excellent, all 50 pieces of wood and 297 pieces of hardware were included, and labeled, except the drawer glides, which were obvious. Extras of hardware were also provided. It took my husband 5 hours to assemble with only a little of my assistance. We got the espresso color, it is very brown without any reddish undertones. It matched a Bassett bedroom set and looks great. We would highly recommend it and hope this new line of Grainwood furniture is continued and more pieces become available. Love it.

Packages arrived in good shape. Assembly was a little time consuming but not bad. Wood is decent quality but be aware there’s a lot of plywood mixed in this dresser. It’s advertised as solid wood and technically it is but the top, sides, back and other parts is plywood so it’s like any other wood dresser. I was pretty disappointed on how the drawers lined up, it is very crooked and I looked at the pics of it on the add and if you zoom in you can see it’s a little crooked on there to. Drawers do not open very wide. It does show how wide it opens in the dimensions but in person it feels like a lot less. Theres another review that shows drawers open all the way, they are using different slides so if you just look at the pictures it’ll be very misleading. Overall it’s not a bad dresser but definitely has a few flaws, the drawers themselves is real wood and has a nice feel. My wife likes it and it will do the job. Eventually I’d like to replace slides with some that will extend drawer further. So far I’m not sure if I’d buy again, I’ll update review after putting more use into it.

We saved $2,000 buying this 4 piece set. It took about 2 hours to assemble but totally worth it. No problem at all and it looks great. I recommend this if you are comfortable assembling things.

Nice sturdy piece of furniture, 4 stars because it took me 8+ hours to build with a drill and some parts were still off. If you have the patient and perhaps more precise furniture billing capacities, it is a very nice piece of furniture. I swapped out the knobs, and will be using this dresser for as long as I can. It is HEAVY, which I prefer in my furniture, but just something to keep in mind for moving it.
