whereas the natural maple is good for you
This should get you back to you to your native American roots; low glycemic load, lovely wild flavor, high nutritional value. Hot off the griddle slathered with grass fed butter and swimming in hot maple syrup with in the company of crispy uncured bacon, its to die for, only after breakfast of course, One caution; DO NOT substitute the artificially flavored glucose that is passed off as maple syrup. Not only is the taste and texture vastly inferior, but it is unhealthy, whereas the natural maple is good for you. Maple is expensive, but so are women and only a fool would give up either. NOTE! This very tasty and healthy meal is a great opportunity to exercise the palate. A Frenchman will tell you to enjoy a sip of wine between bites of your food to restore and invigorate the taste buds in a counterpoint effect. In this case a sip of thick black coffee (no fluff like sugar in it) between bites will have a similar effect

Excellent product and customer service
Excellent product! Family member has several newly-discovered food allergies, and buckwheat is one of the few grains she tolerates very well. And this is organic and sprouted, no less! We have used it for muffins and pancakes so far with great results. It mixes easily and provides a nice nutty flavor. I'm storing it in the refrigerator in the Arizona summertime, and it's stayed beautifully fresh.I was also extremely impressed with the customer service of Golden Farms--when my first bag of flour arrived with a tear, they went above and beyond to quickly ship me the new bag ASAP, fresh off the mill, with excellent e-mail communication. I loved the fact that I was communicating directly with the farm! This product has quickly made its way to a baking staple in our home.

High quality flour. Appalachian Malting flour is my go to for breads and pancakes. I recommend this product if you are looking for a gluten free product that provides consistently great taste and ease of use. Thanks Appalachian Malting for a superior product that has allowed me to enjoy bread again.

It's buckwheat. It's sprouted. It's a good value.
I think most of the complaints I've seen about this are from people that don't know how to cook with buckwheat or that sprouted grains are slightly different and have different textures. We found this to be a fine product.

So silky fine and delish.
This flour is so nice to work with. Is silky fine. Produces beautiful biscuits and pancakes. Is my second order. Was previously ordering another brand that was not sprouted, nor was it milled as fine. This sprouted flour is like powdered silk. Am spoiled now cant go backroads other brand now.

The best that I have ever used...
This buckwheat flour, by far, is the best that I have ever used. It has a deep, rich flavor that made incredible crepes. You can tell that its fresh from the farmer. It is probably one of the best priced organic buckwheat flours on Amazon too. I am a new customer for life!

Inedible
I can't believe that there are any positive reviews. This was absolutely inedible. I tried making pancakes as always, they were mush inside and the taste was disgusting. I was going to take a chance and try this over the usual brand. Complete waste of money. Very disappointed.

Good buckwheat flour
Just made pancakes with 100% buckwheat flour and they were excellent. Fluffed up well...however recipe must have buttermilk! Buttermilk substitutes just aren't the same. Sprouted buckwheat flour a must. Also, grown in USA, so you know exactly what you're getting.
