I've had a real palm tree like this one and there were always leaves on it that were turning brown so in that respect this one looks fake because all of the leaves are green. Sure it's fake but from a distance can you really tell? No! It's not until you get close to it can you see that it's fake. I would agree with others that the pot is rather small and insignificant so do plan to buy a larger pot which will make it look much better. I put pea gravel on top and it looks fairly realistic.
