The purpose of the wedge is to elevate the head end of the mattress allowing your child to sleep comfortably in a gentle elevated position. Place the Wedge either under your bottom sheet or under the mattress to aid better airflow to the chest and upper respiratory tract. Can also help ease symptoms caused by Asthma or children suffering with Colic, Reflux, Chesty Coughs and Colds. The elevation may also help assist drainage from nasal and ear passages during periods of general congestion. The wedge comes with a machine washable 50% cotton 50% polyester cover.

Brilliant wedge not just for children!
I am absolutely delighted with this product. I needed a wedge that was not too high in order to help with the misery of night-time symptoms caused by a Hiatus Hernia. I had previously tried another wedge advertised for the purpose and found it much too hard and impossibly high to sleep on. This one is very comfortable and I am now able to sleep with just one pillow. I am so glad I found it but it did take quite a search.The wedge was beautifully packed, is of very good quality nursery grade foam and came promptly with two useful free gifts - a tote bag and pen.
