Sentry natural defense flea tick squeeze-on dog one size fits all

"One size fits all" <----- Not really. 3 applicators needed for large dog, two needed for medium.......
Sure, there are six applicators in this package and it says "One size flea and tick squeeze on-Fits all". But that is only true if your dog is under 15 lbs.Directions straight from the box:-Dogs 15 lbs and under = one tube needed.-Dogs between 15 lbs and 40 lbs = two tubes needed.-Dogs weighing 40 lbs and over = three tubes needed! So if you have a large dog you need three applications per treatment and there are only six in the box. So each box is only two treatments. Tricky advertising in my book. I have used this product before and paid about $10 for three treatments (for large dogs) from other sellers. As far as the product effectiveness goes, my dog runs free in the Northeast USA all summer and only seldomly gets ticks and never has fleas. He is the only pet in the household though (no cats). Some other people refer to the smell of this product to be strong, which it is, but I like the smell. It reminds me of Christmas. Like a furry air freshener running around the house, and after a day or two the smell gets much, much weaker. Hope this helps! (If it does please click the "yes, this was helpful below!")Feel free to ask any questions!

Wonderfully Effective
I am very pleased with this product, it is highly effective, especially for a natural product. As soon as it was applied it immediately begun to rid pet of any fleas and ticks. The scent is pretty strong, but I happen to like the cinnamon, clove, and etc. scent. I was quite surprised the product was this effective of riding our pets of this pesky insects.I loved the fact that the scent on our pets also made our home smell of Holiday spices. Quite pleased with it...fleas and ticks run!You can not beat the price as well, and it is not harmful to pets-an area of concern for me with the flea and tick repellents that are chemically based. For those who do not like the scent of spices-you would need to choose a chemical based product. I highly recommend this product, and more than pleased with the results after use. I do get a lot of compliments from friends and family on how lovely our pets smell.

Super strong smell, they got fleas anyway
I've had my 2 dogs on the prescription stuff for years but wanted to try something more natural. Within 60 days of going on this treatment, I had fleas in the house for the first time ever. My dogs are house dogs too- they only really go outside to do business and catch an occasional sunbath.I won't be continuing to use this, unfortunately. Good idea but it didn't work. Also, a caveat. If you have a sensitive nose (as I do) be careful with this treatment. I read the other reviews about the smell being strong, but I didn't expect it to be that strong. It is really, really strong. As in, I had a pounding headache for the first two days and couldn't let my dogs sit on my lap without wrapping them in something to keep the smell under control.

Definitely worth considering as an alternative to Frontline - on small dogs
Was keen to stop using Frontline Plus & ordered again after using the 6 pack over 3 months for both our dogs.Yes this is a extremely pungent product as detailed in other reviews & for at least 3 days it will permeate the air severely & you need to avoid being in contact with the areas of application for at least 24hrs.For me the smell is not unpleasant though it must be way worse for dogs with their ultra sensitive sense of smell. On the plus side there are no chemicals & thus far the product has worked as advertised. Our dogs are small - 11lbs & 16lbs - making it very cost effective as we use one phial on each.We have found a flea or two on them, each time almost a month after initial application but this wasn't enough to deem the product ineffective. Results are likely to differ depending on your dog's size, your location & the severity of the flea problem in your area, but for us with our 2 small dogs it has proven to work well enough to be on the 2nd order. Have made the switch & the few days waiting for the aroma to disperse is worth it.

No Side Effects
I have been using this for the past 3 years on our dogs. It smells nice and all, but the reason I use this is because it is natural. I worry so much about all the chemicals and side-effects that other flea/tick drops contain. As for working? They work BETTER than the chemical riddled drops I used to use. My dogs have been flea and tick free since I started using it and we live in a very rural area where ticks are in abundance! Yes, the dogs do try to rub the scent out by rolling around in the grass, but that's normal. Usually, the scent is gone within 1 to 2 weeks and there are NO SIDE EFFECTS. The scent is very pleasant, a little strong at first, but it is still nice.

I like.
Okay. Here is the deal. It has a strong odor. Some find it unpleasant. I do not. My wife did. But now she doesn't mind it. I was too cheap to quit using it when she first complained...so there's that. I got this primarily because we have toddlers around who come into frequent contact with our dog, so I wanted a product that is less toxic.. more natural. Seems to get the job done.

Stinks for DAYS, but totally works! It's the only flea t-ment I use now.
I use products such as these as a treatment, versus using it preventively. I prefer to use minimal anything on my baby, unless absolutely necessary. She required the treatment maybe twice, and we haven't had to use it since (that's almost a year ago). IDK why. She's about an 8lbs poodle mix; I used maybe a half dose each time. It's smells wicked bad, but so does the other crap, and this one didn't seem to bother her a bit. And somehow, miraculously, we haven't needed it again. (Buuuuut...we still have the extras.) :)

Same Ingredients As Green But Cheaper
This product has the same ingredients as Sergeant's Green, but it's lower in price even though it's made by the same company. The package I bought had six applicators and two of them were partly crushed. When I cut open the tip, and squeezed it on one of my dogs, there didn't seem to be much of the liquid come out--not like in Sergeant's Green. I don't know if it's because of the bent container or the difference in brands, but I'm going to switch back to the Green.
