Cant describe in words how amazing this product is. I bought it a year ago, it got rusted and I left it in my corner. Recently came across a video to remove rust and followed instructions to season it properly. And now I am obsessed, every time I make anything it turns out si good. Perfect crispy dosa, cheela , roti, paratha. This has my heart. Will by the rest of the products too

Very nice dosa tawa , I am using it from past three years. No complaints . It has become just like a non stick tawa. Makes very crisp and evenly cooked dosas.

I wanted to let you know that I purchased the "Indus Valley Super Smooth Cast Iron Tawa for Dosa/Chapathi + Free Spatula | 30.5cm/12 inch, 3kg | Induction Friendly | Naturally Nonstick, Pre-Seasoned Tawa, 100% Pure & Toxin-Free" from Amazon on March 13, 2024. However, after starting the heating process, I noticed that the center of the pan began to expand and created a lump.

The specification somehow is inadequate to identify the diameter correctly. By reading product description one tends to believe (craftily done so) that the diameter mentioned is of usable area.In my case, I assumed that the inner diameter would be 11inches. Actual measurement is 10 inches of useable inner surface area.The specification statesItem Dimensions LxWxH 30 x 15 x 5 CentimetersWhich anyway is wrong on multiple fronts.Some clarity on the dimensions pictorially would help customer make right decisions and avoid the disappointments.

We struggled to make good dosa in many previous tavas, including non stick tavas which have hazards if improperly used...We came to conclusion for this struggle with this Iron dosa tava, it's weight is more, looks durable, no need seasoning... directly shall make dosa over it. I love it. ❤️ little maintenance needed, we need to apply oil over surfaces if it is not used to prevent rusting of iron.

Wooden stick is broken ,pls send new wooden stick .tava is good

Purchased this as iron based tawa is more healthy than the teflon coated ones (which are supposed to be dangerous for your health). It is heavy!The first few attempts to make dosa on this tawa led to frustration. But after putting vegetable oil, heating it … letting it cool and repeating the process for quiet sometime the tawa is working fine now. You have to be really patient and give it time.Especially during the seasoning process if you wash it quiet a bit, it will take a long time. On the gas stove , heat distribution was not uniform. You got to let it heat up to an optimal level all across , the reduce the flame to get it to work!Last but not the least, once you get it to work you will find that the dosas are more crispy and tasty 😊
