The little Dino soaps are absolutely perfect. They are cute, colorful, and make a nice little soap. But...there were some problems: the little soap bars didn't melt until I immersed the bag in simmering water, just off the stove. I tried water that wasn't quite as hot (for kid safety) and the bars did not melt completely. Also, the liquid soap begins to solidify quickly, so your little one has to be quick with the color and glycerin - we had to resubmerge our mixture.In addition, all the colors leaked (see photos), especially the blue and the fragrance (the whole box smelled 😵‍💫); the blue dye obscured the labels on the glycerin and fragrance, so I had to guess as to which was which (everything smelled from the fragrance, so that didn't help identify it).In the end, we had fun doing the project together and the final product was a success.

Fun kit for many ages. My 10 and 7 year old boys really enjoyed this kit. It does not take very long to make the soap about 20ish minutes. It did take several hours for them to set. This kit gives you enought soap to make soaps about 2 times. Thes sents are great and the soaps are cute and tiny. Fun for kids to use and give as gifts. The soap also lathers well and is fun to use.

The first time I tried making the soap it was a little difficult. The soap ingredient didn't melt well. I then tried it again with very hot water and it was much easier! My toddler loved helping the process of making the soap and seeing the end result. It was a fun activity for him. The actual soap that you made is super cute! We loved seeing the final product. Even better the package includes little gift bags that you can give to others.

What a cute lil kit. Super easy to use. My girls (3 and 5) enjoyed using this, worn y help of course. It’s pretty straight forward. Melt the base add the color and smell and mix. Pour quick cause it does harden fairly quickly. It does take a decent amount of time to melt if using just hot water and not since type of double broiler or microwave. The all popped out the silicone mold easily and none of them broke. Had a decent lather to them as well. Perfect for tiny hands! And it’s fun to do a little extra activity with them.

Didn't mix/melt well enough. Became very sticky. Sad because you can't have water too hot for children to use.

Five year old dino loving grandson spent the weekend with us and we made these soaps. Fun project to do with kids. It took a long time to melt the soap pieces using the hot water, this grandma eventually just zapped it in the microwave which worked just as well. Soaps popped out of mold very easily, perfect for little hands. Good project, would make a great gift!
